RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 19-01-2016 Premier League champions Chelsea are the bookmakers' favourites to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino, 22, this month. (Evening Standard) DD ![]() ![]() RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - RainbowTurnedEastStand - 19-01-2016 If we could get 25M for Berahino and McManaman I`d go for Phillips 4M, N`Doye £10M, Djedje 4M, Diouf 7M. RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 19-01-2016 However, it is claimed Newcastle are set to sign Berahino and Tottenham winger Andros Townsend, 24, to take their January spending beyond £100m. (Daily Express) DD ![]() ![]() RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - drewks - 19-01-2016 (19-01-2016, 11:18)RainbowTurnedEastStand Wrote: If we could get 25M for Berahino and McManaman I`d go for Phillips 4M, N`Doye £10M, Djedje 4M, Diouf 7M.Just using these prices as an example, Rainbow .... Is it me, or are we expecting top dollar for players we're selling, but then also expecting to buy at Bargain Bonanza prices? With Austin going for 4m and Phillips quoted in similar value, we should maybe lower our expectations of what we can sell for. (I know that its also a reflection of how desperate a club may be to sell - QPR in the above cases - but still.....) RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - 4evaabaggie - 19-01-2016 DFE, welcome to fold, wish you many happy years cheering, moaning, up, down etc etc like the rest of us. Newcastle to spend 100 million, 17 already, 82 on saido and 1 on Townsend ...... wow. Let's start spending RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - devwakey - 19-01-2016 If we sell Saido and the fee is made public as it general is, it will up any price on a replacement. May I ask you to cast your minds back to when Fernando Torres was sold for £50 million, and replaced with a £30million Andy Carrol! By selling first you end up backed into a corner, The best thing we could do is line up a deal, and sell and buy on the same day. Rainbow, Dame NDoye has signed on loan for Sunderland today according to sky sports ....... very surprised how quiet the name of West Bromwich appears to be on the transfer radar. No ins no outs ..... thought el sulko would have been gone in week one and new faces in by now. Don't get me wrong if sulko got his head in order and was prepared to bust a gut for the blue and white week in week out I would cheer him to the ends of the earth but he would have to sign a new deal first. It's not to late to be an Albion legend ..... grow a pair, say sorry, give some loyalty to the club who took you on and we can win together. RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 19-01-2016 Perfect player for TP just released by Inter Milan, Nemanja Vidić His is a centre back, 34 years old, is 6' 22" and has played for Man Utd. Not to mention is injury prone has not played for best part of a year because of a back injury and hernia's. Sounds like a perfect fit ![]() ![]() RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - West Brom Strollers 1878 - 19-01-2016 Cole has been released by roma. Sign him up. What you reckon RE: Jan 18th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 19-01-2016 (19-01-2016, 19:18)West Brom Strollers 1878 Wrote: Cole has been released by roma. Sign him up. What you reckon IMO absolutely not, our squad is already to old without adding a 35 year old to it. In his day Cole was an amazing player but I think all he has left, is his name. |
