This is laughable

3.5 million !!! WTF

Johnny Evans has agreed to join #lcfc after they met his £3.5m release clause with #wbafc. Will be paid in two instalments.

Does this include a few books of green shield stamps.

Tell, Leicester we will buy Gray and settle the bill in 2035.
See how they like that!!!! Angry

I'm guessing the first instalment will be for the cost of the taxi taking him for his medical at Leicester- let's face it, with Evans you don't know if he'll return it

What do you know about these two Josh ?

Reports in Austria claim that #WBA step up move for previously linked Austrian full back Stefan Lainer and also show serious interest in fellow compatriot and Bundesliga wonder kid Kevin Danso. Both rated near £6 million. https://t.co/kjoDd3XPRV

I don’t know too much about either of them really.

From the little I’ve seen (Europa League), Lainer is a right back with a great engine and he provides Salzburg with a threat going forward. They play in a 4312 which is very narrow so the full backs are relied upon for width.

Danso is a 19 year old centre back who broke into Augsburg’s team this season. Here’s an article about Danso on the Bundesliga website -  https://www.bundesliga.com/en/news/Bundesliga/kevin-danso-augsburg-wonderkid-dele-alli-mk-dons-desailly-474586.

Looks and sounds like a real down to earth guy. That’s a good sign for the club.

I would like us to dip back into the Egyptian market this summer and look at Walid Azarou from Al Ahly. He’s a striker and is a classic goal poacher. Right place right time sort of striker but with the added bonus of pace and strength.

Danso might be homesick, as he's spent the vast majority of his life in England looking at his background.

Probably not good ready for Premier League football yet, so could be some truth in it if he's keen to move back to England and play.

was you not offered something daft like 20 odd million for Evans last term and turned it down ?

Yep Manchester City but that was back in August, We turned that down because at the time he was our biggest asset due to a great season the Year before,
Then Arsenal offered 12 Million In January again turned down , personally I would have taken that as relegation was looming, However for some reason after the window was shut it was revealed he had a relegation clause set at £3.5 Million !!!!!!!
So whoever put that clause in actually wants hanging,
Having said that we only paid around £8 million for him and get this , WBA won 7 Games last Season Evans Participated in just one of those victories Whistle
