Just seems a bit harsh on Pearson, did well getting them up but they just aren't good enough.
He is acting very strange though.

Thought Baird wasn't great on the ball at times today, maybe his left foot isn't good enough for him to play on the left.

Mcman was lively in the 1st half.

Looking at the Leicester boards on JA606, it seems Pearson had to go for that McArthur incident. He's slightly out of control and is borderline anger management course material.

I had not seen the incident this weekend. But that added to previous events I can see how this has had to reach its conclusion. Shame the Leicester fans are not on here discussing it..........

With Sicknote no doubt out for yet another period of time, should we start with a 4-4-2 formation playing Ideye alongside Berahino? Brown seemed to do well when he came on and hopefully, his well taken goal will massively boost his confidence.

There's doubts as to whether Nigel Pearson has in fact been sacked. I must say, there's nothing on the BBC Sport website about it.

Aries, the Guardian seem to think not....

Never put nay pictures up sorry!!

Up at 4:50am yesterday for that!

First half was one of the worse performances for a while. Passing awful, defending awful. Brunt down the left for their second epitomised it all...

Second half was decent, (well much improved). Thought Ideye was very good when he came on. Chased / Harried, won a lot in the air and put pressure on. Thought Mcmanaman was decent as well. Fletcher needs to realise he can't be a passanger and needs to effect the game more.

If we didn't get one before half time we probably lose 3-0. Thought our fans were good, considering the numbers we took, and theirs really quiet, although couldn't really hear much on MOTD.

Brown has to start for me, probably next to Berahino. Think TP will have liked his display.

TP still taking a lot of stick for a team he inherited. Watched interesting programme on SS1 the other day. Gerry Francis was the guest He was asked what makes TP a good manager? GF replied he looks at the squad and devizes a system to fit around the players and their strengths and weaknesses as opposed to having a system he forces players into. Seems to make sense to me. asked what his role was GF said he watches from directors box because he can see a lot that a manager cannot see from there and he phones down to offer advise to TP. These two have been managing at this level for many years now and its easy to see they've been pretty successful at it. Besides this a lot of ex footballer pundits seem to like them and respect them their must be a good reason for that? Most of the soccer saturday pundits merson, thomson, neville, carragher, etc, etc, were writing albion off under irvine they're all saying we will defo survive now. There must be a reason for that? A lot of us were saying drop Wisdom week after week so he did it and now he's making crazy team selections? The saido saga is embarrassing a la odemwingie but TP obviously had a strong word but kept it jovial and light hearted in front of the press. The guy is no mug He's also not a god. He's inherited a team that was on a big slide and has been for some time. We haven't been playing attractive football pre TP we've just been losing week in, week out. We've only had the guy for a month and the results are 2 wins 3 draws 1 loss against a very high flying spurs (See Arsenal result Saturday anyone) I was no fan of this guy either but as someone else said earlier on here who was out there that was going to do a better job of keeping us up? Anyone? Nobody as far as I can see is better equipped for this battle and its not going to be pretty there won't be any pretty football because sorry but we're not real madrid or barcelona we're albion we're lacking pace width and attacking talent and worse than that we're in deep s*** so we need to keep singing and shouting and getting right behind our team because survival is paramount here and then come summer maybe we can rebuild a team that will play some fluid football eery oozy as Billy Connoly once said lol! One positive perhaps, ideye scoring finally. He was almost out the door maybe the pressure is off a bit and just maybe we can see some return on the 10 mil who knows?
