RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Parisowl - 30-09-2023 Stateside I think looking at upcoming fixtures hoves a false sense of security. At the end of our unbeaten run last season (basically after Byers was injured) we had the might of Burton Albion and Accington Stanley to play. No worries I thought but how wrong I was. We are so s—t at the moment all teams in division will see us as a soft touch. Plus playing at Hillsborough serms to insire the opposition more than us. I am afraid we haave what is really a very small company (SWFC) run by amateurs and twats. Sorry but I need to qualify my last post. 95 percent of people who work at the club are fantastic (if they come from Sheffield that is a given) its the top management that are useless RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Maddix - 30-09-2023 Personally I can't wait to start again in the 9th tier. The club is pure poison and rotten to the core. Let Deaf John have his way and see how much of his money he gets back from Aldi for the ground. The supporters will start it up again when this xxxx is gone. It's been done before and I'd rather see us competing against Solihull Moors and the like than the constant humiliation we have now. If we trashed the shithole maybe the Liverpool Football League would get off our backs and start looking for the real culprits ![]() RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - St Charles Owl - 01-10-2023 Actually the ground is protected as land that can only be used for sport, so he cannot sell it for redevelopment into anything worth any real money. If he goes, he either rents it to us or sells it to us, it has no other valuable use. RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-10-2023 My god can you imagine the rent price lol RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 01-10-2023 That's another dilemma we've traced over before. When he cooked the books he over valued the assets. The ground I think he valued at around 30m? Even though he knows it's true value might be 10m he wouldn't let us have it back for that now he's at all out war with the fans. He's going to see it as an opportunity to recoup lost monies. God knows how much he'd want for the remaining assets. It looks more and more like this blokes just laundering money through the club ![]() RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 01-10-2023 BML Update Washington gets 2 ![]() Wereham gets a ![]() The ground would be part of the sale according to local media. The local media have also said they are aware of several interested parties who would be interested in buying the club. RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-10-2023 So what's zipper head want for the whole deal ? He bought everything for 30m and the ground for 30m in his head so is 60m his price ? It's still very cheap when you look at the potential. RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 01-10-2023 The land owned is probably worth more than the structures built on it ![]() How do we class the squad whom aren't worth the money they're paid. Do they go down as negative equity? RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 01-10-2023 Leicester pissed allover Blackburn ..can't see anyone winning the league but them . RE: The Owls v Sunderland SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 01-10-2023 Tuesday night away and it'll be rainy, and pretty much Stoke. I wonder if we'll set up 541 and hoof it up to a lonesome Gregory again? West Brom, like Sunderland and everyone else will be counting on it. We are the catalyst for even the worst teams to get going. |
