Is it? The squad looks paper thin at the minute, back up wise. The club look clueless at the minute about how to remedy the situation.

I agree with the bringing our own through.
But there is one thing that makes me giggle with that... we have holmes crooks sinnott billings tronstand who are all central midfielders with potential, yet they are going up against hogg butterfield and coady, which is arguably one of the best midfields we have had in yonks.
we have 3 decent centre halves, yet we have right backs playing left back and we will most likely be in the summer months with no left back.
we have bojaj as a striker (and it looks like he has struggled in the dev squad) and carr (who doesnt look that good) with charles as the player in the hole, other than that we have a couple in the under 18's who may have the potential...in 3/4 years.
all i'm saying is that it's all well and good bringing the young ones through our academy, but they are much of the same in terms of position and playing style

thats it wakey. we have a team that is probably championship quality, but the rest of the squad is lg 1 and lg 2. even then, some failed there on loan. so what does it tell us as fans?

In other news, Crooks and Sinnott both released. Shame for Sinnott, liked the look of him when I saw him play. More squad trimming done.
