RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - WakeyTerrier - 03-11-2020 Former Town defender Rob Page to take charge of Wales this month whilst Ryan Giggs has other things to think about RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - WakeyTerrier - 04-11-2020 Well i've seen it all now. Town have turned down sponsors because they didn't meet our valuation and so we are doing the following Giving 3 charities the sponsorship(the maximum allowed for a season) The rest will be raffled off, 20 tickets per match at £250ea So bloody amatuer RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 04-11-2020 It's amazing how Phil managed to make his millions in the first place. He's like some first round failure in The Apprentice. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 13-11-2020 Town legend Les Massie has died, aged 85. https://www.htafc.com/news/2020/november/in-memoriam-les-massie/ Quote:Les was voted as one of the Club’s 100 greatest ever players to feature in the ‘Fans’ Favourites’ book by supporters in Town’s centenary year and sits fifth in our all-time scoring chart, with only George Brown, Jimmy Glazzard, Billy Smith and Andy Booth surpassing his 108 goals. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 13-11-2020 Ah was nobbut a bairn at the time but saw him turn out down The Shay many times in my very young yoof in the late 60's, afore I made the journey over The Ainleys a regular Saturday afternoon thing to do. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 25-11-2020 Dean Whitehead sacked at Shrewsbury. ![]() RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - jjamez - 30-11-2020 Old waggers wanted by direby whilst the cockney duo will be favourites to become sad mackem...... RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 24-12-2020 Article by Henry Winter in the Times online, which was behind a paywall so I only read the opening bit, but it seems like former Town boss and fish n chip shop owner Lou Macari is now running a home for the homeless in Stoke. Good lad. Always liked him. ![]() RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 26-12-2020 64 years ago today, Denis Law scored his first goal for Town. For those of you with Sky, there's a good documentary about him on there and the first part mostly covers his time at the club, including an interview with Kevin McHale. Worth a watch whether you're a Town fan or just a footy fan in general. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 01-01-2021 Jan Siewert is caretaker manager of Mainz. His first game in charge.......Bayern Munich away on Sunday. Viel glück, Jan. ![]() |
