More on Grant; he is set to sign a six-year contract with #wba. The transfer fee will be spread over the period of that deal. Very much a Covid transfer ....
No Beefy you misread the article, it says 'Karlan Grant, who the Baggies have been linked to for 6 years, has agreed to sign up'

Looks like Grosiki might still leave according to Percy talks are ongoing with Forest.
Some media reports saying Zohore loan move to Sheffield wed is off.
We will know in 24hrs of any more ins and outs.

You've got to consider the next 2 weeks with potentially NO strikers available if Austin & Zohore leave, and even 1/2 more weeks for Robinson & Grant (hopefully) to get to some level of fitness /sharpness.
Personally I think we need to keep 1 of them, and maybe also Grosicki IF the budget would allow.
I'd still like to see what Zohore could do!

The only good thing for me about keeping any of the players who look like leaving by tomorrow, is that it’s 10 weeks until the winter window opens, that’s how stupid extending this window has been . There is normally around 16 weeks between the summer window closing and the winter one opening. We really are in stupid times

Grant deal done. Permanent 6 year contract.
IMO it's strange to commit to a main forward target who spent most of last season playing out wide and scoring more goals from that position.
Just hope he can readapt to playing up top and has kept himself fit enough to hit the ground running. We certainly need him to. Can't afford to wait weeks for him to get to match fitness like the others.

Good luck to Grant, our previous management didnt think he could play the number 9 position but if you have good players around him i'm more than confident he can and will prove the Cowley's wrong.
A crying shame its taken so long to get this over the line, we've missed him this season even playing out wide and now we've given ourselves less than 24hrs to replace him...anyone would think that was the plan all along by our chairman.
