RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - Was Wereham Owl - 08-11-2014 Ah well, shower & shave and off out to the BEST Chinese buffet in Norfolk, I'll show our forward line how to finish (even if it's capital ribs & 8 pints) RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - Towinjustonce - 08-11-2014 SG thanks, now move on !!! MM splash some fooking cash or we will be joining Blackpool in the Pub league. RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - A57owl - 08-11-2014 I just can't see us scoring. We looked hopeless up front. No creativity, spark or ability to make the keeper work. I wish the 15 guests would sign up and join our merry band on match days. It would be good to hear what other Wednesdayites think about our current team and position RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - St Charles Owl - 08-11-2014 (08-11-2014, 19:04)A57owl Wrote: I just can't see us scoring. Doesn't matter which team you look at, it takes 4-5 on target chances to usually score a goal, and we had only 3 all match!! As you say that is the problem and the blame falls on both the midfield and forwards!! Midfield not creating enough and strikers not helping themselves when they do get chances!! That lack of any spark from anyone is worrying, thats what gives the team belief and we haven't seen that for ages now!! RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - A57owl - 08-11-2014 Sadly, I'm now thinking SG is not capable of moving the team and squad further forward. Rather than sacking him... let him drop back to coaching (which many players say he is excellent at) and get in a manager who can organise and motivate. We may not all agree all of the time, but the forum is there for the debate!!! Having said that we might all agree that today was shite!! And to think my brother was over from Australia to watch that!!! (08-11-2014, 19:13)A57owl Wrote: Sadly, I'm now thinking SG is not capable of moving the team and squad further forward. Well technically he still has the Head Coach title, MM never gave him the Manager title, so why doesn't MM just go out and now appoint a Manager??? ![]() No winner of the results predictions this week, so just Kimmy gets a ![]() RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - Kimmyowl - 08-11-2014 Whey at least I won something today!!! Shocking game and 2 bad sides, definitely a penalty in my opinion We are terrible going forward and with little option on the bench, I thought it was a fair result with both defences easily on top, shame about GTF cos I think he had the beating of em Heard pullis will be in place very soon RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - Southeyowl - 08-11-2014 It were a pen, but we would have missed it! Ihave just sent my wish list to Santa! . All I have asked for is a fecking goal! RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - A57owl - 08-11-2014 Santa is good... But even some things are impossible for him ! RE: Match Thread v Rotherham - Owlkev71 - 08-11-2014 Praise & Grumble has been interesting, Rotherham fans saying they should have won and Owls fans saying it was two poor sides and a fair result. Steve Evans said Rotherham dominated large parts and deserved the 3 pts. |
