Thoroughly enjoyable first half between Spain and Morocco.
Spain are their normal selves but I have been very impressed with Morocco yet again. They’ve really got in Spain’s faces and given them a tough go. I’m not a fan of the fouling but it has worked to stop Spain’s flow. Then when Morocco win the ball they are off flying on the counter.
With a more potent striker they could have been battling to get through to the knock-out stages right now.

Well done Morocco, they deserved to win that game tonight. If only they had beaten Iran (they had plenty of chances against Iran’s double decker bus) and taken their chances against Portugal. Poor finishing is the difference between finishing bottom and finishing in 2nd.
So Group B finishes as:
1. Spain
2. Portugal
3. Iran
4. Morocco
Spain play Russia and Portugal play Uruguay (I hope Godin and Gimenez kick Ronaldo a few times).
