RE: Derby Co v The Owls SBC Match Thread - St Charles Owl - 21-10-2017

I'm not trying to cheer anyone up, especially Imre, he's a lost cause!!! This squad is under performing, Carlos takes the blame for that but we are missing key players through injury or form and that has to change!! I'm tired of blaming refs for everything, we had enough chances today to create goal scoring opportunities but because we cannot deliver a set piece to save our lives we had few clear cut ones. I am half hoping Matias can provide a bit of quality in place of Wallace, because we don't currently have anyone else who seems to be able to change anything.

Just seen the penalty incident, soft comes to mind and technically he was going away from goal. Never a red card though, yellow would have been correct imo.

Carlos still thinks we can get promoted Laugh

RE: Derby Co v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 21-10-2017

IMRES NO BULLSHIT MATCH RATINGS FROM A MAN WHO HAS GIVEN UP Sad

WESTWOOD.......5He made one good save but his distribution was poor all be it limted and he wasted to much time Angry for me he can leave in the transfer window Thumb down

HUNT....6 The most improved player at the club Thumb up that just shows you how bad we are im afriad Whistle he defended well but his crossing was poor Doh another player who can leave Thumb down

LEES....6His best game so far this season which is not saying much is it Whistle Kept Derby at bay right untill he fell asleep for the second Doh

LOOVENS....1Dogshit hes to old hes to slow and although it wasnt his fault that poncy Bannan could protect him Doh he is dogshit .. leave please and do us all a favour Thumb down

FOX...7MOM i thought he defended well as a center back when asked to Thumb up Trouble is hes a one in 3 man and isnt consistent .. he must take this chance now and become it and quite Frankly hes getting a golden ticket with the dogshit competition he has for left back Thumb up

BANNAN...6Exposed Loovens and we lost the game within 5 minutes Doh after that he played quite well and didnt put a foot wrong his set peices were at there awfull best though Doh he has to go with CC because he isnt good enough to build the team around ...sell ASAP Thumb down

LEE...6Had his work cut out playing as a two man midfield and some of his passing was awfull today but he ran his socks off all the same and he is who we need to build a formation around Thumb up

WALLACE...5Wasted the position yet again i can only think CC is feffing his mrs ? as he doesnt even deserve to be on the bench as late Angry cant cross cant keep a shot down and fails to be bothered about working with the rest ...get rid by terminating his contract as hes to old to sell on Doh

REACH...2Dogshit he cant take a man on and when the wednesday fans mumbled this he telled them to xxxx off or something Angry one of the worst signings per pound coin ive ever seen Angry not good enough simple ..xxxx off please Angry

HOOPER ...6Tried to no avail due to playing on his own upfront Doh could have done better infront of goal before he was fouled for what should have been our second penalty of the game Doh

FLECTHER...3To much work for the old man and he missed yet another sitter with his nut Doh hes not been playing well since before he left for the international break .. hes not fit enough and yet another who has to leave the club if we are to progress Thumb down

JOAO...3He was asked to play upfront on his own so thats that .. he may aswell have stayed on the bench Doh

MATIASS...4Showed a glimmer but he needs more time on the pitch and should have been given the chance at HT not the last 20 minutes Doh

CluelessThe Basics yet agian ... firstly not picking the right fromation to protect his center backs Doh second the early goal give away for the humpteenth time due to a lazy start and tactics that saw a wednesday attack being brought right back to our end through wanting possesion instead of trying for a goal Angry Free kicks and set pieces same as you were Thumb down substitutions way to late as we needed fresh legs on the pitch and i do believe he only made two substitutions with 10 men WTF Angry Has to go its simple there is no point beating Millwall and Barnsley which is possible to go back to this shit when we play the better teams next month !! and next months fixtures look imposible at the moment Doh

Shuve the kit up yer arse DC Thumb up and hopefully when only 10,000 turn out on tuesday night it will hit you hard enough in the pocket to actualy move yer arse and do something about the incompitence at Hillsborough in just about every department Angry

MMMM  Whistle we'll see  Cool

If Carlos stays we will be relegated. Other teams are not stupid and can quite easily work out what most of us on here already have and that's how to beat Sheffield Wednesday. This has been coming for ages and was papered over by a good run at the end of last season which scraped us into the play-offs. It's been exacerbated this season because most other teams have strengthened and got even wiser to our 'system' whilst we have sat on our arses and sucked our thumbs. We'll see the odd decent performance now and then but when it gets to crunch time and we are still in the bottom half (if not 6) then this lot will just capitulate and we will go down. Other teams will do whatever it takes to win while we will carry on blindly hoping that 4-4-2 is the answer to every question posed by the opposition.

In the cold light of day we've dropped 23 points already and are on course to score around the 50 mark IF our form doesn't dip any further.

RE: Derby Co v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 22-10-2017

It is possible we need releagting again for DC to actually grow some balls and get rid from top to bottom like mandy did and start again ? at this very moment i couldnt give a flying xxxx if we are relegated as the humilation against the pigs was that of granduar size that its probably better we dont play them again for another few years untill we are Hungry for it !!

DC is a total flop as a chairman so far hes not the worst because we have to remember Alan and the other RAT Richards !! but he is a total flop so far as far as money ratio goes !! if there were a choice id have mandy back without the money striaght away !!

RE: Derby Co v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 22-10-2017

Even Rowett thought we should have had a penalty. The ref even told Fletcher that he saw the player tugging his shirt, but he should have stayed on his feet!!!!

http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sheffield-wednesday-should-penalty-says-663571

The officiating toward us is bewildering. With the exception of the Pig game, where I thought the ref actually did a good job, the other games I have seen I could only call it downright suspicious ( I know they don't cheat really) once or twice you can definitely call a coincidence. At this stage however, it's too much.
We're only a quarter of the way in to the season and as Imre says. ref's have cost us a few points. Should this continue over the course of the season we'd have lost around 12-15pts simply to dodgy officials alone.

This season has been nothing but an anti-climax for me.

I'd put it down to incompetence Stateside rather than bias. One can only hope that over the season, the other clubs get their fair share of poor officiating. Yes, I was surprised to read what Rowett said. Refreshing, when it comes from the opposing manager.

http://www.thestar.co.uk/our-towns-and-cities/sheffield/sheffield-wednesday-fans-condemn-fighting-between-owls-supporters-1-8817660 yep its a complete and utter mess !! and Reach wants feffing the little wanker !!

RE: Derby Co v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 22-10-2017

Split fanbase is never good. I know people have different views about Carlos but fighting among your own is plain embarrassing.

RE: Derby Co v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 22-10-2017

Weve always had a split fanbase they only come together after the manager in charge is sacked and the circle goes round and round !! the probem is that there are fans like me who know we are a big club at least in the top 10 of English football is were we should be and playing attractive football !! and the other lot who accept shit which has been dished out the last 20 years .. the problem with accepting this shit is that the standards have dropped and we have become what we are today .. a feffing joke club ..
