On a serious note, the 2nd XI fooked up with Ballance by trying to make him into a number 3 batsman when Trott couldn't hack it anymore
Remember when they tried to make Root into an opener Ballance is a 5 or 6 that can plod along holding the tail together or smash it about a bit when required 
He has a better cricketing brain than Stokes or Buttler in that position and he was dropped while out-performing Bell who looks to have had his day. Father Time catches up with the best of players.Number 3 is still our biggest problem position

Yorkshires push for the Championship continued today
Bowling Zummarrzet out for 110 to gain 3 bowling points and finishing the day on 138 for 3 Looking well placed for another win. A couple of the 2nd string were drafted in with Lyth scoring a handy 62 and Ballance sat on 49 n.o.The first day of Middlesex' game at Warwickshire was washed out

By my calculation if Middlesex got Maximum points possible from there remaining 3 games we would need 43 points to win from our remaining 4 games.

At close of play tonight that target had dropped to 39 as Middlesex only managed 1 batting point out of 5
We have already secured 6 batting/bowling points against Somerset so, 'as we stand', the target is another 33 points from 3 1/2 games

Bairstow 91 (also passing 1000 Championship runs for the season in just 13 innings in the process)
We'd have won the Championship in July if half our squad hadn't got drafted into the 2nd XI at various points throughout the 'Summer ?'

so they have to beat us and make sure we score less than 6 bonus points when we play them next week 
Then hope that we don't score any points in our remaining games IT'S OURS
And we should target 300 points and set a new milestone
