Hull may be Poor but came within 30 Seconds of winning away at Man City  Whistle

Football is so funny but Spurs were a lot better than Arsenal and although better than us we could have easily got something from the game.

So I agree the Home games are so Important now
We need the Hawthorns rocking.

Not sure that is going to happen at the moment though Sick

Leicester just sacked Pearson.
Very poor decision just after transfer deadline !

For survival this season I would pick the current manager of the year who has never been relegated.
And your choice is ?

Actually, Squirrel, it was Tony Pulis. Of the options available at the time I was prepared to stick my tail between my legs and hypocritically back a man that, in football, I despised. For years I, along with many others, lambasted Pulis and publicly made our feelings known about his 'brand' of football.

I agree with the other comments on here, staying in the Prem is the number one priority, no matter how it's done and fingers crossed he can keep us up, at least then I won't feel so guilty.

Stunned that they have sacked him at this stage.

Maybe, it's a reaction to knowing that Harry is now available Laugh

Fair enough Tidy,
Just seems at times you are very anti-Pullis but although I back him I certainly don't think everything is rosey.
Fingers crossed he keeps us up but its gonna be tight and stressful !

Good interviews with Baggie's just on sky.

Fletcher impressed with the spirit in the club and Pulis 'watching' his words talking about Saido.... Whistle

No he's useless and a bit of a tw@t, (is swearing allowed/censored on here?)

It's only poor from our perspective.

Really not sure what Leicester think they can achieve by sacking Pearson here and now. Not really any better candidates out there, and from what I've seen of them on the field they just don't have the players to survive. That said, the incident in yesterday's match where he was grabbing McArthur's throat looked like a real lost-the-plot moment, so maybe he'll be better off for having the pressure taken off his shoulders.

RE: Burnley vs WBA - Match Thread - Borders Baggie - 08-02-2015

Just back home from the match and have to say we were lucky to escape with a point although could have nicked all three in near the end.

Foster made a brilliant save early on but we didn't learn. We sat off Burnley from the start and it cost us. Baird looked very uncomfortable in possession and didn't seem to have any time on the ball. Have to say that GMac's distribution was very poor, either a punt up field to nobody or a slack pass which surrendered possession. Couple that with out of sorts performance from Yacob and Dawson not much better and we were always going to struggle at the back. McManaman doesn't look match fit although he did look the one who could possibly set something up in a poor 1st half. Amazes me how teams can get quality crosses in from the flanks but that seems beyond us.

TP taking some pelters but credit where credits due, even though we stole a lifeline in time added on in the 1st half, he still made positive changes to try to influence the game. He spent a lot of the second half trying to get the team playing further up the pitch but after the equaliser, we seemed to drop deeper again. Only human nature to protect what you have I suppose. Great to see Ideye scoring, and he put in a shift in the second half which other forwards could possibly learn from!!

Referee mediocre yet again but doesn't excuse our performance. One of these weeks the others results will go against us and we'll really be in the s**t.

Much improvement needed against a good footballing side in Swansea on Wed night.

Luckily we don't play Leicester until after their 'honeymoon' period.... Whistle
