RE: Transfers - El Car - 21-06-2015

It would seem a bit odd if Warburton was telling people a player he hasn't signed yet is going to be the new captain, especially when he hasn't even met the club's existing players.

Could be true that we're trying to sign the player though. I'm not totally opposed to the idea despite his age if he's still a capable player (can't say I know much about him) but it seems likely if he was going to come in to the team he'd push out Murdoch, which doesn't appeal to me. I think dropping him from the first team would be detrimental to a young player who's come on leaps and bounds, and of the youth players who've been involved with our first team I'd say he's the one who looks most capable of holding down a spot. Others have shown flashes but he's been consistently strong.

We are being linked to every player under the sun at the moment, until they are unveiled at Ibrox i'll reserve judgement. To be fair to Warburton he did state he wanted some experience to go with the youth initially.

That is my approach too.
No harm in mentioning prospective transfers, in and out, but until they are on the Rangers website, it is all speculation.
Still nothing on the website about Rob Kiernan.

None at all Larry, i expect to see a raft of signings within the next week, They will want to bed them in as quick as humanly possible. Looking forward to the new season, and not expecting too much too soon!

Seems to be rumours that Scott Allan has agreed to sign for Rangers. Still waiting for a concrete source.

Good luck with Danny. I liked him at hearts, although a bit slow at times but still a championship winning captain. Loads of fans on Bears den didnae fancy him when at hearts but now, all of a sudden , he's a great signing- thoughts?

RE: Transfers - TheWorthinGer - 22-06-2015

I think he's a good signing.
