RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Stairs - 02-01-2016 Leicester bid for Gray accepted by Birmingham RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 02-01-2016 S**t S**t S**t S**t. How long have I wanted us to get this kid. Just hoping as Sky are reporting it is an unnamed club though thought to be Leicester. ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Bournemouth Baggie - 02-01-2016 Has exercised a release clause of £3.75 m to go to Leicester according to Pat Murphy and was having a medical at the Kingpower today. RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - BaggieMan - 02-01-2016 We should have signed him AND Butland a couple of years ago. RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Slick_Footwork - 03-01-2016 Was more gutted to see Iturbe go to Bournemouth than missing out on Gray. Think he would've been a nice addition to our counter attacking style with his pace and skill on the break. His main attributes will probably be wasted in Bournemouth's style. RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Bournemouth Baggie - 03-01-2016 Debuchy? Don't rate Bellerin particularly and he's taken Debuchy's place. RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Stairs - 03-01-2016 If Gray can be already having a medical at Leicester why can't Berahino be down at Spurs being checked out - come on Albion! RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - talkSAFT - 03-01-2016 I often wonder how Coaches deal with a roomful of Foreigners (I'm not xenophobic!) 15 mins at halftime is just not long enough to get translators pumping out the message. And is the training-ground car park full all week with French & Spanish Graduates? How does Pellegrini get his messages across? I actually wonder if TP tries to fill his team(s) with English-only speakers. (Olly speaks perfect English; Sess has only made the team by default; and Rondon plays as if he hasn't understood a word!) Otherwise - unlike most Prem teams - we're pretty well all English speaking, and it must make the Coaches' jobs so much easier. And there's less excuse for misinterpretation. Keep it English in the January Window!!! RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Not to state the obvious but the foreign players will learn English and they teach them a lot of football specific language quickly. RE: Jan 2nd - Here we go! Happy New Year - WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - BBB - 03-01-2016 (02-01-2016, 01:29)Stairs Wrote: Out of contract at the end of the season are Stephane Sessegnon, Gareth McAuley, James Morrison, Jonas Olsson and Victor Anichebe. So who of these players can you see moving on, and who will be offered a new contract? I would have said Olsson, but appears to of late been a better player. Maybe Anichebe will go. |
