RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - valpayne - 05-10-2020 Watching deadline day and wba have barely been mentioned other than grant same ol situation then may as well switch this off and look at the news tmoro to see the last minute failures and 3rd choice uninspiring 1 signing RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - Slick_Footwork - 05-10-2020 I did expect the club to pull a couple of rabbits out of the hat today. Thought at least 1 striker was guaranteed and was hoping we might spring a positive shock and get a good defensive midfielder and right back in. Then I thought we might supplement that with a 2nd striker during the EFL window. But the more the day goes on, the more it seems like a damp squib is inevitable. I hope the club are just conducting business really quietly. But I suspect we might end up begging for relegated dross like Deeney or Andre Grey on loan over the coming week. RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - Beefy 1965 - 05-10-2020 Lai out ..... Josephmasi@expressandstar Two hours to go then until the first deadline day is over. Not expecting any ins or outs at Albion. October 16 very much the deadline the Baggies are working to, with Karlan Grant understood to still be the number one target. #wba RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - Stairs - 05-10-2020 90 mins to go and bugger all. I am saddened by this. Surely something soon! RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - Beefy 1965 - 05-10-2020 Another two weeks to get him another month to get him fit, Half the season will be gone and we have the same side basically as in the championship ... RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - Blue Baggie - 05-10-2020 I'm waiting for "we tried to sign him, him and him, but we couldn't quite get it done". RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - Stairs - 05-10-2020 Why do we do this every time. A nearly great squad and a little more effort and we would be a serious contender. But now it’s just about trying to keep above Fulham. RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - Slick_Footwork - 05-10-2020 (05-10-2020, 22:40)Stairs Wrote: Why do we do this every time. A nearly great squad and a little more effort and we would be a serious contender. Looks like Fulham are going to sign Loftus-Cheek. With Lookman recently acquired and a proper forward in Mitrovic, I can't see them finishing below us, unfortunately. In fact, I can't see where our next point is coming from with this spineless bunch. I just hope that by some miracle, at 36, Ivanovic is still the player he was at 30. RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - WBA-Josh - 05-10-2020 Habib Diallo has joined Strasbourg. https://www.rcstrasbourgalsace.fr/habib-diallo-signe-au-racing/ RE: 2020 Summer Transfer Window - 1st October - SomersetBaggie - 05-10-2020 (05-10-2020, 22:34)Blue Baggie Wrote: I'm waiting for "we tried to sign him, him and him, but we couldn't quite get it done". I think this will be the statement on the 16th when we do not get Grant and end up just getting Gray on loan. Fulham and Leeds have developed their squads since promotion, we have stood still and will be isolated at the bottom of the league by Christmas.....if I was Slavan I would walk away. |
