Well it looks like Norwich have beaten us to this one. £8m. Bargain if you ask me.

Kirchoff would actually be a really signing for us if we we to be interested in him. He is a centre back by trade but can play as a holding midfielder which I where I would prefer to see him utilised. He would add much needed height in our midfield which we lack and is a younger alternative to Mile Jedniak from Palace who I think Pulis will be looking at. Yacob has needed some competition for a while now and I have maintained for the past few years that we need a tall midfielder because we are too small and lightweight at times.

I saw him play for Schalke when he was on loan there during Jens Keller's time and he was used as a holding midfielder and impressed me.

Have to agree with our midfield lacking height.

I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that the last player we need to be signing this window is another centre back though haha.

As a club we're in dire need of dangerous creative players imo. Sess turns it on every now and then but not consistently. If we had the likes of Odemwingie, Lukaku, Long or dare I say it Berahino back in the side again and playing regularly, we'd all be in a much better place.

Should of brought in Carlton Cole as he`s better than Rondon and iam convinced he`d of been on more than 3 goals.

• Kane Smith (Hitchin Town) – (Dec 30, Mail Online) – Non League sensation?

Rainbow, is this a wind up ..... My mate is a hammer and even they call him can't control, Rondon has had to adapt to a new league, new country and a worse service than volkswagen ....... strikers thrive on service and confidence, it has been a while since we have provided sufficient of either to the frontmen, look at our recent striking failures who are succeeding elsewhere.

Our football is frustrating for us to watch, it must be worse to play in, fighting for scraps with little or no support, no wonder he lost it against Bournemouth .... Was their player involved in both reds and the penalty?

We have to take a gamble on some of theses unknowns , wouldn't cost a lot , you only need one Jamie Vardy to make this work  Thumb up

I can't believe people are still battering Rondon. He works is balls off and must be so frustrated. It normally takes a good 6 months for south American players to adapt to the premier league. Bear with him and he will score many goals I AM SURE..... This is the best league in the world, that's why when these strikers go abroad they score for fun. He will come good.

Hearhear world-class, bearing in mind our defensive set up he has done very well ....... if other players were scoring for fun under our game plan, then slate him, their not, when we play expansive football his hard work will pay off and his confidence will grow. He will score goals.
