The SNP is leading you up the garden path you can't see it! If Scotland became independent how would you close the £13bn deficit, increase taxes? reduce public spending? or both? How would you afford the £55 million a day to be a member of the EU if you joined? It would cost you £450 million to set up departments for an independent Scotland and that is just over 5 years.

We'll change the subject re false insinuations in your last two threads and now talk about more future financial figures re Scotland and poss Scot indy that I'm not even gonna bother to dismantle TBF esp coming from a serial offender!! Of course there are challenges for Scotland as a nation and all Scots who support Scot Indy and the Scot Nats are well aware of that fact!!!!! That is why we are now moving to the debate that covers all the issues that are gonna be challenging Scotland as an independent nation and how to finally break up the Treaty of Union effectively once a consensus is reached!! Scotland is a small country and a rich one too with various independently studied economic analyses to back that up but, as said previously, it will be challenging, no doubt BUT IT CAN BE DONE AS HAS BEEN PROVED IN OTHER SIMILAR SIZED COUNTRIES THAT HAVE DONE IT SUCCESSFULLY!!

Scottish Nationalism is Anti English and Anti British and you've been very guilty of it yourself as well calling the English "B'stards", "Little Englanders", you have called us "Thick", "Racist" and "Xenophobic". Cadbury's was British till it was taken over by Kraft and the same goes for Rowntrees too till it was taken over by Nestle.

It will cost you £450 million just to set up departments for an independent Scotland and that figure is for 5 years, if it takes any longer that figure will rise. Then if you join the EU you will need to find the £55 million a day not to mention you would have to build a hard border between England and Scotland and have border checks and control which will be even more money.

Yes I have, just under £2 trillion and that was a certain Mr Osborne's fault for borrowing £500 billion when the Condems came to power in 2010. When Labour left office in 2010 the National debt was around £700-£800 billion and ever since the condems or the Tories have been in power the debt has gone up. They borrowed more money than any other Government in history.
