Win this and I reckon we really bounce. Lose it and we're adrift.

Headless chicken McLean will be giving away free kicks & Andy Carroll is up front for them.

Regarding Burke, all I can think of as reasons why he doesn't start many matches is a lack of tactical awareness (Drifting away from his position too much and not doing his defensive duty which was shown against Man United) and poor stamina (Not able to last more than 70 minutes).

He struggled at RB Leipzig last season with the tactical side of the game and he wasn't trusted as a starter because of it. He is still young so he probably needs the right coaching to drill tactical awareness into him. The stamina issue can probably be improved with a specialised fitness program to improve his stamina over time.
The fact that we have been linked with Yannis Salibur from Guingamp in France, who is a fast right winger, might mean that Burke could be used more as a impact striker rather than as a winger.

Big, big game tonight.
I just hope that the players go out there with the right attitude and aren't feeling sorry for themselves from the start, following all this fuss about 2 games in 3 days as opposed to Wet Sham

sorry to say this but we couldn`t attract shit from a horses arse
a fast right winger?
what we going to do with one of those?
admire his speed?
sorry to piss on your parade
but wingers are useless if they dont have strikers to hit in the box

RE: WBA New Year Match Thread - Beefy 1965 - 02-01-2018

Yep Injured !!!!!!!
Fookin Sick note

His replacement Livermore Doh

RE: WBA New Year Match Thread - WBA-Josh - 02-01-2018

Looks like Rodriguez is playing on the right wing with Livermore in an advanced role behind Rondon. Krychowiak and Yacob holding in the middle.

I wonder if Phillips' injury is physical or mental (Not feeling 100%). Confused

Poor miss from Rondon (15 mins)

1-0 What a great goal from SuperMac
