It's not that they're cup tied, but rather because it's a replay you cannot select players who were not registered for the original tie, and neither Sandro or Pritchard were signed then. Both will be available against Reading when we progress to the 5th round. With all these injurys we might as well just go for it and if we lose then we lose. RE: WBA vs Peterborough - FA Cup Fourth Round Match Thread - aries22 - 10-02-2016 Exactly as we should have done at Newcastle, Rainbow. RE: WBA vs Peterborough - FA Cup Fourth Round Match Thread - BaggieMan - 10-02-2016 Shame to admit but, I'm so disillusioned of late that I couldn't give a rats nose whether we win or lose. You get the enthusiasm sucked out of you with the antics of the footballing anti-Christ. You can't mean that Baggieman ! I can fully understand not going or even watching on tele but you don't care if we lose ??? That's strange to say the least. ![]() RE: WBA vs Peterborough - FA Cup Fourth Round Match Thread - betterthanbaird - 11-02-2016 On to Reading. RE: WBA vs Peterborough - FA Cup Fourth Round Match Thread - silverbaggie - 11-02-2016 There's only one word description for the first 45 minutes-------- DIRE ![]() Switched channels in disgust but came back for the last 10 minutes only because I had nothing better to do. The biased commentary didn't help but, somehow we scraped a win despite Fletcher making an absolute pigs ear of his penalty. ![]() RE: WBA vs Peterborough - FA Cup Fourth Round Match Thread - BaggieMan - 11-02-2016 Didn't exactly cover ourselves with glory considering they were Div III opposition. In fact, over 90mins they were the far better team. RE: WBA vs Peterborough - FA Cup Fourth Round Match Thread - BBB - 11-02-2016 How we won that i don't know,we were at times out classed by the Div 1 team, and against any better teams, Berahino and then Fletchers miss penalty would have put us out - now for Reading, and fighting off relegation. Not a happy supporter RE: WBA vs Peterborough - FA Cup Fourth Round Match Thread - Zinman - 11-02-2016 Good to see the site back up and probably lucky that we weren't anle to post during that utter sh##e. Embarrassing to be so outplayed by a young 3rd tier team but there were lessons from tonight. 1. Full backs are a good idea. 2. Chester is a competent central defender 3. If you play 3 defensive midfielders you create nothing. 4. Gardner works hard but can't pass wind. 5. We need a new manager. Sadly Pulis won't agree with 1 to 4 and Peace isn't brave enough to act on 5. I really fear for our survival hopes. |
