Not necessarily, at the moment it is the parent company that the receivers are working for, not the football club, so as long as they can continue to run themselves then they may not get a points deduction.

I think Southampton, amongst others, tried that one. It didn't wash with the authorities
but look at them now

I would imagine they will try nd do everything they can to avoid the points deduction until such a time as they are more than 10 points above relegation. Will be interesting to see what the FL say o do about this one in the coming weeks!!

Brum aren't doing too bad ATM. If they took the points deduction they'd only be 5points adrift and could easily make that back

it's quite an inexperienced team and one for the next few years rather than right now. We're still one of the favourites for the world cup, although that could be because we're the host nation
