Now that would some signing!! Terrific player and it would seem Dortmund are prepared to share his salary although it's unclear what the balance would be. I have to say I would see this, in satisfaction terms, as the polar opposite of signing Troy Deeney. If Deeney signs and he's successful I will happily eat my words but I don't see anything this guy would bring to us....and for a ludicrous amount of money.

(If only TP was still in charge - he'd sign in an instant Confused)

Would be great if we could pull it off. A bit concerned with his injury record though.

Situation normal......'the press' are linking us with anybody who's played up front for a minimum of 10 mins in the last 25 years, and didn't get a full game at the weekend  Doh

RE: WBA Transfer Window - 24th January 2018 - BaggieSteve - 24-01-2018

Let's be realistic. Any striker we'd all rate and would like to sign, is either not available or wouldn't come to the Albion. Those potentially available are not wanted by their current clubs, most of whom are competing with us for a relegation spot (Mitrovic/Newcastle, Adobe/Bournemouth, Deeney/Watford), so if these clubs don't want to keep these guys, why on earth do we want to sign them? I'm sure we'll sign someone before the deadline and it will be distinctly underwhelming.
I know I sound a right pessimist...I'm not normally this grumpy!

Nacer Chadli is back in training. If Mr Pardew and his coaching staff can get him fit and firing he will be like a January signing.

Get Schurrle in as well as another striker and our attacking talent, on paper, will be strong.

Liverpool and Everton tracking Rondon why would they with the strikers they have?
