RE: WBA 2017/18 - 12th January Transfer Window Update - Baggievicar - 15-01-2018 Thanks, Josh. I know what you mean, Drewks, but it's been so quiet this window that it has lifted my spirits a bit just to see a rumour. RE: WBA 2017/18 - 12th January Transfer Window Update - Worldclassalbion - 16-01-2018 I have seen Tom Cairney play a few times. He’s a very good player and most things go through him on the pitch. He also seems a good leader and organiser. As Fulhams captain that will add a few million. He’s young and imo would be an astute signing but I think there are better players out there. Mixed feelings from me on this one. I still think Chadli needs to grow a pair and step up and stop being a lightweight. Big signing big wages, small impact so far. Didn't that happen to Gary Lineker at Italia 90? ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 - 12th January Transfer Window Update - Dingle-Dingle - 16-01-2018 (16-01-2018, 13:58)Ska\dForLife-WBA Wrote:(16-01-2018, 11:24)Worldclassalbion Wrote: He’s a very good player and most things go through him on the pitch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2R1QABw5v_w DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 - 12th January Transfer Window Update - Beefy 1965 - 17-01-2018 Rumours on Twitter saying Johnny Evans has all but gone ,said his good-byes apparently, This from the same source that said we were looking at a striker at Peterborough So let's wait and see ? RE: WBA 2017/18 - 12th January Transfer Window Update - drewks - 17-01-2018 Hegazi's Egyptian CB partner lined up (Evans's replacement?) - a coupla other sources saying the offer's already gone in https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/albion-manchester-city-evans-egyptian-14168041 RE: WBA 2017/18 - 12th January Transfer Window Update - WBA-Josh - 17-01-2018 (17-01-2018, 19:02)drewks Wrote: Hegazi's Egyptian CB partner lined up (Evans's replacement?) - a coupla other sources saying the offer's already gone in That's more like the old school Dan Ashworth period link/signing. Calculated risk for a low fee which has great potential. Just like Hegazi, Dawson, McAuley Mulumbu, Yacob, Dorrans etc. I like it. ![]() RE: WBA Transfer Window - 12th January 2018 - drewks - 17-01-2018 ....quite like the idea of Debuchy in at RB and Dawson switching back to CB with this new guy and GMac as back up RE: WBA Transfer Window - 12th January 2018 - Dingle-Dingle - 17-01-2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv6tuzHUuuk DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA Transfer Window - 12th January 2018 - WBA-Josh - 17-01-2018 (17-01-2018, 19:59)drewks Wrote: ....quite like the idea of Debuchy in at RB and Dawson switching back to CB with this new guy and GMac as back up Debuchy - Dawson - Hegazi - Gibbs How spiffing. ![]() If Evans leaves then the biggest question has to be who will become captain? Currently Livermore is vice-captain but having lost his place in the team to Krychowiak it would be silly to give it to him. I think it should be between Dawson and Barry. Dawson has shown that he can be a leader and defensive organiser when played in the centre of defence during Evans' absence whilst Barry has the experience and leadership qualities that Darren Fletcher also had. |
