With this Spurs affair, I wonder what would have happened if the roles were reversed.
Suppose for a matter of interest, we had put in a bid of say £75m for Harry Kane with a down payment of say £10m and the rest over 10 years depending on his performances.
I wonder if that would have been ok with these Spurs fans who are whinging like stuck pigs ?
This is just a scenario so don't just say he wouldn't come - he would if we offered him £500k a week plus add-ons.

Laughable comments from Levy - so Spurs never talk about other teams players? Their manager seems to have spoken about little else for most of the summer. In addition, how come the press had so much knowledge of Spurs' next moves, surely it couldn't be down to them briefing certain journalists could it? Strange how similar things have happened to other Spurs targets such as Schneiderlin and Wanyama. Also there's no denial of the pitiful upfront payment nor of the alleged performance criteria that would trigger the later payments.

Remember it's not just us left with an unhappy player.
Wanyama didn't play for Southampton due to his head not being right.
Seems to me that Tottenham have got some big questions to answer.
I can only hope that Berahino calms down over the weekend (take some cal-pol mate) and shuts up and gets on with it.
Can we play him in the u21's as an overage player if he does continue his tantrum ?
Either way he will be gone when the transfer window opens..sad but inevitable.
Your goals will be missed but your attitude & criminal behaviour will not.

With Pochettino declaring his "love" for Berahino is like loving one woman in the world???? WTF how did we get to be the bad guys in all of this?
They came, they underbid, they tried to get him on payment terms like a used car and we told them to f*** off! What's wrong with that. It's Levy that is the complete pr*ck here.

No onw has mentioned the new goal keeper, who has an impressive CV, Maybe that;s the way, no really good full back, just a better than good goallie -- and Lescott to Villa and Ideye has gone to Olymianikos.
So what is said about them going ?

Obviously it was a cash offer since no player part-exchange was involved, but I've heard it was over five years at £5 million a year, but crucially the timing of the offer only left us with an hour to buy a replacement forward, given that we'd heard of no offers going in for Charlie Austin or anyone else. And it was this timing that JP objected to, given that Spurs had had the whole three-month window to make their bid following first discussions with JP in May - as I've seen reported. If any Spurs fan, or TV pundit like Danny Murphy, tries to say they thought Salomon Rondon was Berahino's replacement (as Murphy did say) they are wrong, because we were already a forward down after selling Brown Ideye to Olimpiacos.

Spurs were trained in their tactics by the best, our 'Arry. 'Encouraging' other team's players with leaks to the media does seem to have been a feature of many a transfer window. Interestingly HR even made comments about Saido this summer suggesting that old habits might die hard!
