I agree about Pat Phelan as well. Due a good comeuppance, methinks.

That's a pretty deep philosophical question Jacko. Ranks alongside if a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it does it make a sound? Or is it possible not to hate the blades if you are a Wednesdayite?

Thank goodness there are blokes like you and me around to keep the rest on their toes.

I didn't think I'd asked a question, PEI. Looks more like a statement to me!

I agree that it's good to have a deep and rational conversation sometimes. Even if it is about Corrie!

You're right Jacko. I must have imagined the question mark. Would have been a good question though. I can't believe that Carla and nick are leaving the show can you? I love Carla.

someone kill me again !!

RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Jacko The Flopsy Piglet - 07-04-2016

PEI. A spoiler alert would have been nice if that's true about Nick and Carla! I haven't seen Corrie all week but I assumed Tracey was going to blow them out of the water and they wouldn't go. Agree about Carla though. Smashing lady!

Sorry Imre. The wife got me into watching Corrie and now I'm hooked!

I agree with you Jacko. They (well, Carla really) are too important to the show to be given the hook. A lot of the plots are pretty predictable. Doh Like I see Michael and Gail getting back together and I think that Kevin is going to rearrange Phelan's face. But, see what happens when a couple of intelligent blokes like you and me start to have a lovely conversation about Corrie. That Mexican hombre (amigo, my arse!) comes on and tries to ruin it. Doh Imre, if this is too deep for you, try talking with maddix about My little Pony. Laugh

Or the Cabbage Patch dolls? Laugh Laugh

He's a few weeks behind us anyway. Far as I know Nick is staying and carla going temporarily

They serve a purpose in giving some excitement to the losers who cannot have a real life.

I used to watch because my wife watched but now I enjoy living rather than watching dross. If you have no life then at least it gives people something.
