RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 11-09-2018 Yorkshire 203 and 127-3 Lancs 252 As per usual after a good start Lancashire failed to build on it had the strange Ines 27-3 but Ballance and the double barrel Cadmore getting the Yorkist into a good position. Interesting game building up RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 13-09-2018 Lancs chasing 230 are 105-7 RE: Lancashire 2018 - Lord Snooty - 13-09-2018 Squeaky bum time! Losers go down? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 13-09-2018 We've gone almost utterly woeful batting for most of the season on the plus side we have 10 left arm spinners RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 24-09-2018 Hants 187 all out still not relegated RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 24-09-2018 Lancashire 111-4 still life in the corpse RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 25-09-2018 Relegated RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 26-09-2018 Won by 8 wickets down on less games won than Notts we were docked a point for a slow over rate against Yorks RE: Lancashire 2018 - themaclad - 30-09-2018 Brown, Kerrigan and Lilley all leave the club, for Kerrigan still think his one test match killed his career RE: Lancashire 2018 - jjamez - 21-03-2019 I see lord David of bumbles has suggest a change in the English cricket season. Not too dissimilar to what I've mentioned in regards to the County championship being three tiers of 6, putting it in par with the rest of the world Only difference I'd have is making the 50 over Cup more like the champions league in football. Allow some of the minor counties in. A straight knockout system could be counter productive as you'd want as a national selector, you're best white ball players, having more than one game, especially if they're not test players and in some cases don't play much red ball County games. One freak result and you could go into a series where a player say David Willey at Yorks might have played one game in two months or more depending on where t20 fits in. The other thing is more and more players are signing white ball contracts, so make it worthwhile for the counties |
