i did see that the players looked slightly bored ill give you that we are flat !! but for me that could have been the Bristol or wigan game as in both we only played the last 5 minutes at the end anyway Whistle god knows how we will fair in the next two away games we wont score many goals thats for sure Doh And defending at craven cottage isnt a good idea either not with our defence anyway Doh Huddersfield tried it and got battered Thumb down and then its of to that shithole in the black country where its been 10 years since a win Doh Doh Doh Doh Doh even the best of our teams struggle here Doh Doh Doh Doh Doh

Just watched highlights myself. Obviously not a great barometer to be going by but fookin hell our zip and verve that we played with last season is no where to be seen. Bannan was just walking around and when hunt lost the ball for the first goal he was walking around and only jogging back. Agreed Fletcher should have done better with header.

I pretty much agree, Imre. Having watched the highlights, our players yet again did not look motivated or up for it. Once again we were the home team, and you'd never have been able to tell. It's just like the Wembley game to me, lacklustre and half arsed. No urgency and not even close to clinical.

CC chopping and changing week in week out is not the way forward. I'm all for rotating a squad, but it needs depth first FFS Doh
We've spent years crying out for natural full backs & wingers. Hunt & Pudil were both improvements on the nothing prior to them ( Palmer you could argue is better than Hunt currently) However, they both need replacing with better quality, themselves becoming decent squad players as back up. NOT first options. Reach starts before Hunt, every time for me...

Midfield.. I don't know what's happening. We seem to have lots of talent in this department but most of it sits out as we can't play eleven midfielders, can we? Doh

As I said yesterday it seems the Fog is finally lifting for some fans. There may be plenty of football to play but I have still yet to see enough that merits more than the 9th or 10th place finish we're looking at.

So, going back to the end of last season, when some of us said we'll be needing some investment. That didn't mean 3-4 over priced, decent but over priced players. It was said then, that our lack of ambition will come back to haunt us.

For me aswell i think the international players are playing shit due to having no rest in between the breaks we get ! westwood eyes are so much on the number 1 jersey for Ireland that hes forgot about us ! Bannan and Fletch are up against it because every scotland fan thinks they shouldnt be in the team ? and as for poodle well he could leave for me tomorrow and we wouldnt miss him read get dutch bloke in ffs or why did we buy the fcuker ? to keep melo matiass bus and joao company sougou ????

Clear out needed quickly !!! better wingbacks and a striker of venom needed !!

Jordan Rhodes was at the game yesterday!

Read into that what you like!

RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Ipswich - Imre varadi - 06-11-2016

Hes got to be signed for me ! while i think Fessi is better at getting you a goal from 25yards hes proved to be poopoo at getting them in from 6yards out ( this year anyway ) he will not look as effective as Fessi outfield but we need a goal sniffer that can knick a goal when we are huffing and puffing for 90 minutes playing tikka takka wank !! sign him sell Fessi on and look to young Hirsty as the future Thumb up Fessi will leave anyway when his contracts up so while we wont get bigbucks we might have got at the start of the year we will get more now than in a years time when other clubs start playing the lets wait and see bollocks Doh

RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Ipswich - Imre varadi - 06-11-2016

It wil be more talked about than ever this one after Fessi early season tantrum and Rhodes being the best out of favour striker around in the whole of the British isles ! god hope we dont ever go foriegn again after the tripe thats pulled our pants down over the last 25 years even when theyve been good theyve had some hidden virus dicanio carbone fessi !!!!

RE: Match Thread - SWFC v Ipswich - Statesideowl - 06-11-2016

I suppose we'll have to push through to January and see what happens when the window opens and hopefully, some players will be leaving, and joining.
