367 to win, Hameed first Lancs batsman to score two centuries in the same innings against the old enemy

367 in less than a day. Hmm, maybe not. Time to dig in for the draw although that won't be a great deal of use with Middlesex winning easily again.

41-0 after 13 overs, 325 still needed. Barring a collapse, a predictable draw as Lancs help Middlesex win the title. Thumb down Thumb down Thumb down

We still have a game in hand and the last match is against them Thumb up

148-0 at tea. 218 still needed, do we have a slog after tea or play for the draw?

Have a go if you lose a couple of wickets then close it down

Nothing to lose by having a go except 5 points which wouldn't alter our situation with Middlesex too dramatically. However a win would crank up the pressure Cool

188-0 and the teams shake hands at a draw.

Yorks 26pts behind Middlesex but that game in hand.

And Middlesex still have to be bored to death at Old Troughford Whistle

You mean the building shite, bizarrely have actually won there this season on the concrete tracks we produce at headquarters. Give me a outground any day of the week, better atmosphere, more chance of getting a result and closer to the action.
