I am not sure Hooper will soften up the defence, not big enough but I do think he is still a better option anyway. We seem to rely on the long ball too much when Nuhiu is on, not sure if that is what the players are told to do or whether its their default position when he plays!! Our best football this season seems to have been when we have played the ball through midfield or on the counter attack, not the long ball!!
