Again, at least now the game isn't masked by a late win as we did against Rovrum.... We're not good enough yet again against a team we should have beaten.

I do wonder how much DC is willing to take..

Almost another one there!!!

Game over, piss poor game.

Welcome to the wonderful but also woefully depressing world of being a Wednesday fan Mr DC!!!

Absolutely laughable really, did nothing for 89 mins and snatch a lucky point, should have been 5 down before they got that goal, nice to see Bus score, but other than that we should be battering little teams of this quality at Hillsborough .... roll on next season

RE: Match Thread - Huddersfield Town - St Charles Owl - 04-04-2015

Not sure it was piss poor, but it was boring and sterile!!! We kept possession well and the build up was good at times, but not enough end product. We are just crying out for SG to try something different just for once!! He said this week he would try some youngsters in the team but no sign of any today!!

Not sure he will take the risk incase he gets the boot!! I don't see how a new pitch next season will suddenly make us a better unit up front.... The goals will still be the same size and in the same place!!! and we know our 'on target' ratio is piss poor!!

RE: Match Thread - Huddersfield Town - St Charles Owl - 04-04-2015

You are going to see bad bobbles on a bad pitch and that will mess with your mind when up front, but I have seen none of those recently, we just can't hit the target!!!

RE: Match Thread - Huddersfield Town - Statesideowl - 04-04-2015

That's just it SCO, we have the edge in terms of capability with our current squad, to beat teams like Hudds. As much as I'd like to say we deserved to win, did we really? At 1-0 down a team is never out of the game it only takes one lucky break to get a point out of nothing as shown today, and shown by us against Rovrum when they deflated within a few minutes.

SG continues to prove he isn't able to cut it as manager, there are no real variations on his theme. Most other managers in this league have figured us out fairly easily. I would have loved to see some kids chucked in the mix too, they can't ruin our season only improve it if anything

RE: Match Thread - Huddersfield Town - St Charles Owl - 04-04-2015

It embarrassing when teams come and play us and you can see them adapt to how we play on the fly!! We can't change our style or formation or tactics during a whole week of training, let alone during the game. How many insipid performances will it take SG to manage over before he thinks it might be worth changing it up a little!!

As an aside, Stateside won for closest crowd prediction and Wereham got one for the closest time of first goal. BML is now updated.
