FINAL TWIST?

Less than an hour to go before the end of the summer transfer window but a disgruntled Saido Berahino could yet get his move to Tottenham. Spurs have been cut to even money to sign the Baggies striker, with the player now 1/2 to stay. Latest odds. DD Whistle Whistle

Can Mozza knock him out again?

In fact can I have a go as well?

Spoilt little prick could have been killed in Burundi by now, he has no idea how lucky he is.

RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - Latecomer - 01-09-2015

£5m as the up-front payment - obviously Peace was never going to let Berahino go for that; that money wouldn't even buy you a Big Vic Anichebe!

Saido - what an idiot. I personally don't think we've got anything to lose by sitting him in the reserves for a bit. He'll disrupt the first team dressing room, he's got 2 years on his contract and after 6 months in the reserves I'm sure he'll change his mind.

I reckon that Peace probably said to him last year 'keep us up and I'll think about letting you go in the summer'. I still think if the deal had been right (i.e. £25m mostly up front) and it had been two weeks ago then it would have happened.

For context - Martial has transferred for £36m; he's 18 and never played in the prem. Contrast that to £5m for Berahino and you can see the ludicrousy in what Levy and Spurs were offering.
