RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2020 - WakeyTerrier - 16-09-2020 According to someone ITK we have a midfielder who just needs to pass a medical signing (Carel Eiting?) and a forward coming in on loan. RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2020 - Lord Snooty - 16-09-2020 Frazier Campbell to Turkey according to the S*n. For me he can go, although why any footballer letter alone a black footballer would want to play in Turkey is beyond me RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2020 - Lord Snooty - 18-09-2020 (12-09-2020, 10:11)Lord Snooty Wrote: Apparently we are now favourites to get James Garner on loan from Man United. He's gone to Watford. Why are we incapable of signing any of these players? Is it Hodgkinson? Bromby? Carlos? It's getting ridiculous now. RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2020 - theo_luddite - 18-09-2020 tbh Watfud are a better proposition at the moment if all else is equal, however we don' know if it is equal. RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2020 - Lord Snooty - 19-09-2020 Terrier Inbound: https://www.htafc.com/news/2020/september/loan-carel-eiting-arrives-from-ajax/ Huddersfield Town has completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Carel Eiting on loan from Eredivisie giants Ajax for the 2020/21 season! 22-year-old Eiting, who will wear the number 14 shirt during his time with the Terriers, passed his medical at Canalside and will be available to Head Coach Carlos Corberán as soon as international clearance is received. Born in Amsterdam, Eiting – a left footed central midfielder who has been capped by the Netherlands up to Under-21 level – has progressed through the Academy at Ajax before going on to play 30 games across the Champions League, Europa League, Eredivisie and the Dutch Cup. He was a substitute in their opening day win over Sparta Rotterdam, but now moves to England to feature for the Terriers. Huddersfield Town’s Head of Football Operations Leigh Bromby commented: “Carel is a player who was identified by our recruitment process some time ago, but he wasn’t one we expected to be available as we entered the current transfer window. However, situations develop and change as time progresses. “He is a top talent and, when we learned it would be possible to bring him here, we had to act fast. “There has been considerable interest in Carel, as you would expect in a player who was in Ajax’s squad last weekend. Everyone, from myself and Carlos to several coaches across all disciplines, spoke with Carel on Microsoft Teams until late in evenings to convince him that Huddersfield Town is the right place for him to continue his football.” Head Coach Carlos Corberán added: “Carel is a young player with real potential, who makes the squad stronger. He’s very technically skilled; very comfortable on the ball. “He’s a midfielder who give us different options; he can play as a playmaker, in more attacking positions or as a mixed, box-to-box midfielder. “We hope that he shows all the skills that he has here at Huddersfield Town.” RE: HTFC Summer transfer window 2020 - Lord Snooty - 20-09-2020 Pritchard is wanted by Norwich and Brentford according to some Twitter nonsense.
