RE: Millwall & Bristol City vs WBA - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 10-04-2019 If anything, I was more angry with the last few minutes than the first twenty. Just one goal needed to salvage a draw, and we spent the entirety of stoppage time titting about in midfield with aimless passes, no urgency, no driving forward, no lofting a ball into the box to ask questions of their defence and maybe get a lucky break. I don't think we even managed to get the ball in their area in those last five minutes. We need a new manager, but we need a new team too. This one's been a passenger train for far too long. I didn’t look at the score until a mate texted me at 3-0 down. RE: Millwall & Bristol City vs WBA - Worldclassalbion - 10-04-2019 I honestly don’t think demonstrations are a good idea. The whole nation turned on us when we sacked DM. They were wrong to do so because they weren’t watching week in week out at his short comings and stubbornness. If we demonstrate now they we will turn into one of the most hated group of fans in the country. My reasoning is this: they will see us sitting in 4th place, a position all teams below us would love to be. We will become the new ‘Wolves’ who think they have a god given right to be in the premier league and champions league too. The Albion have a good reputation amongst other fans, these demonstrations will only put us as fickle pathetic moaning fans who don’t deserve anything. Just my opinion but I won’t be demonstrating but only because I don’t want our good reputation sullied if that makes sense. RE: Millwall & Bristol City vs WBA - Onetruebaggie - 10-04-2019 I wont be demonstrating Saturday, we are a $hit shambles at the moment and dangerously holding onto a playoffs place that we'll almost certainly get smashed in when/if we get there! As for denouncing my support during this bad run is just F****** pathetic, we are all frustrated and turning on the team right now isn't going to get us up or finish with some pride and dignity. I for one will go down Saturday, scream my head off as I always do, support the club and hope we get back to winning ways, this is dire at the moment but I've seen worse! The worst case is we remain in the EFL and start the inevitable rebuild in the summer from all departments, the best case is promotion through the play offs and Derby style embarrassment with Shan at the wheel, it aint all bad!! COYB RE: Millwall & Bristol City vs WBA - Baggie_One - 10-04-2019 Could be worse i guess........any ideas. Beefy was this you after a Bristol Vindaloo ?? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6906643/West-Brom-fan-appears-accident-live-TV-viewers-convinced-s-himself.html RE: Millwall & Bristol City vs WBA - Blue Baggie - 10-04-2019 I respect other opinions on Shan, I said last night I don't blame him. I'm sure he coached the players and confirmed the issues against Millwall - which were spot on. For the players to concede 3 goals due to a repeat showing of the gapping holes between midfield and defence was a disgrace. Shan should return back to his stewardship of the youngsters (before they lose anymore respect for the club) The players themselves have proved for the last 2 years they are not capable or don't care - it's one or the other. Time for the old school to go and take Jenkins and Dowling with them. We could really do with promotion, coming straight back down is fine as long as we do a team rebuild. The £100 million from the PL is vital, without it I don't see a future just a continual struggle. Unless we get a new owner who employee's a footballing man to run the show. Jenkins and Dowling are money jugglers - Billy Smarts would be an ideal promotion for them pair of clowns. Little lesson from Norwich - Don't be afraid to sell your star players, Your old players who are past it can find a role at clubs like WBA If your new players work as a team you can win this championship league with ease. (who used to be a serious Newspaper for Right-wingers.) If I was that bloke I'd sue the 'paper' - and I'm sure a Judge would award him a lot of money. The Mail should sack the Reporter and his Editor. Just don't buy that rag again (if anyone does). ![]() RE: Millwall & Bristol City vs WBA - Beefy 1965 - 11-04-2019 (11-04-2019, 09:10)talkSAFT Wrote:(10-04-2019, 13:14)Baggie_One Wrote: Could be worse i guess........any ideas.
