RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - Imre varadi - 26-08-2017 well we could play another day and wouldnt score .. sloppy ! wildsmith is shit by the way ! only one winner here !! lets snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory !! realy wildsmith isnt good enough !! RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - Statesideowl - 26-08-2017 Same old problems, only now we are poor at defending and scoring. Going to be a long, miserable season playing like this. This ref though... RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - peiowl - 26-08-2017 That's it. Another disappointing performance and result. RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - Statesideowl - 26-08-2017 Pissed two points away. Burton had a linesman and ref helping them out. Buxton just two handed shoved Hooper and Burton got the foul. All game decisions like that. We aren't good enough though. After we scored we did the usual Carlos tactics RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - St Charles Owl - 26-08-2017 Probably a fair result in the end and keeps us unbeaten. Improvement over last seasons performance and result from the same fixture!! Feels like two points dropped though!! RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - Imre varadi - 26-08-2017 CC OUT HE HAS TO GO AND SOME OF THE PLAYERS PROFFESIONAL FOOTBALLERS ? ITS xxxx DISGUSTING THE MONEY THATS BEEN INVERTED INTO THE TEAM TO CHURN SHIT LIKE THAT OUT ! DC GROW SOME BALLS AND SACK THE xxxx !!! RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - Washington - 26-08-2017 We did enough to win that. Don't think the officials were doing us any favors there. What I can't figure out is why we put in high crosses against teams with brick s**t house defenders like that especially once Fletcher was subbed. Our goal and the ones disallowed came from low crosses into the near post and we have the technical skills to put those in but not the headers. RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - Towinjustonce - 26-08-2017 Didn't hear or see game. Just read comments here. Very disappointing result after going 1-0 up and then seemingly having numerous chances to score. For the money we spent, the experience in the squad and the fact we went one up away we should be killing these teams off or able to hold out. It may be a tough league but we make it very tough on ourselves.... a lack of a winning mentality is a big big issue for me. In the last 5 games of last season and the first 5 games of this season does anyone know our win, draw, losss results ? Can't be to impressive anyway RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - Owlkev71 - 26-08-2017 Last ten league games: W5 D3 L2 Doesn't include Huddersfield play offs. RE: Burton Albion v The Owls Match Thread SBC - St Charles Owl - 26-08-2017 Last ten championship games - W3 D5 L2. Now I'm being generous with this but if you take the playoff out and just do league games it becomes W5 D3 L2. Not too bad really. We are difficult to beat, have been for a couple of seasons but we do not create enough chances, do not take enough of those we create and struggle with set pieces. Defensively we are good, one interesting stat, we haven't conceded more than two goals in a league game for over a year now, 16th August 2016 when we lost 3-1 at Burton. |
