Paul Hartley professing that Hearts 'could be' a 'force in Scottish footie' under Levein??? Is this a case of one 'good buddy' back slapping another good buddy? I listened to Hartley's comments last night on bbc Sportsound and he 'came over' as 'towing the company line' while Hearts ex player, Gary Mackay, being far more critical of the whole interview process and the nature of the appointment while a good number of Hearts' punters getting 'ripped' into Hartley as well! Also what does a 'force in Scottish footie' actually mean????? What is the interpretation of such a statement in a footie league where Celtic are light years away from any form of challenge/opposition if the truth be told!

IMO the Euro footie line is 'old hat' anyway because Scottish footie clubs, apart from cash rich Celtic, don't achieve anything in Euro competitions BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH AT THAT LEVEL AS HAS BEEN PROVED TIME AND TIME AGAIN!!! I suppose he had to set some kinda target as agreed with his Hearts' board members but that truly 'takes the biscuit'.

Just a 'slip of the keyboard finger' - duly amended but wowwwwww, after months n months of anonymity and no involvement whatsoever on Sportsbabble, we still have this Hertz clown arriving on the scene trying to justify a jibe over 'just a piece of banter' and a wee mistake (and btw dinnae bother 'stalking' my posts/threads!!!) on a topic (Hearts - I couldnae care less about HMFC TBF!!!) that is hardly ever debated on this board - talk about 'poor form never changing' from an individual who 'disnae participate' anyway FFS'! No doubt this banter must have 'hit a chord' of some sort for this poor wee Hertz besom (he must be hurting!!) to suddenly arrive on the scene lol
However, lets not drift away from the whole embarrassing 'theme' of this original OP eh and it is indeed about Hearts and their managerial/administrative woes!! Nuff said!

I see what you mean re that 'piece of maroon sticking plaster' Jim lol! It looks totally 'out of place' on that frontage! Also is that a prefab construction that they've opted for? It looks like it and, if it is a prefab option, the words 'cheap n nasty' come to mind - in other words, construction costs of such a structure are well up compared with our development a few years ago. So is this a 'premium build'?
