I'm hoping Hibs 'feeler' of the Tynecastle pitch in last Saturday's semi-final victory will prove to be invaluable with visiting the same ground within a week in such positive fashion. I'm looking forward to seeing John McGinn driving at this Hearts defence in the same way that he thrived against the saints' mid and defensive players.

Fraser Fyvie confirmed injured and out for weeks - looks like a medial ligament tweak at the end of the Morton match. This presents Stubbs with a wee midfield dilemma although we're flush with mid players. It's a curious mid prob and who Stubbs will opt for!

Great comeback from the team that always "bottle it" . Well played Hibs, great fight and determination. Shows how far AS has brought this side as we wouldn't have done that a while ago.

Aye Fred, thought Robbies tactics of sitting in and catching us on the break had worked with 10 minutes to go........but these days we don't give up and when one goal went in it was always going to be a nervy finish for you.
2 cracking goals for Hearts but they all count and lets hope for an equally exciting game next time. Hope your lad enjoyed it despite the last 10 minutes.

Thought a draw was the least we deserved,absolute bedlam in the away end at the equaliser.
Cannae fathom out what hertz were playing at,they seemed more interested in cementing our players and time wasting than attacking us. Yet when they did i thought we toiled a bit and they scored 2 good goals.
2nd half the effort and performance was 100% better and the whole team seemed to click into gear. bartley and mcginn deserve special mention.
Deserved yellow for nicolsons foul gesture to the hibs support as well. Wonder if robbie will ask for clarification a la warbiola ?
