The roads here are no better than the UK so I wonder if it's the tire that is made differently.

Depends on the compound. The Goodyears that came on a new Mazda were really soft/ sporty so I had only managed 18 k. But their replacements did 30k but had a 50k warranty so I got credit from the tire place against a new set of yokohamas

Sod it, I'm going for some of them Michelin cross climate tyres Thumb up I think Doh

80 quid a pop is the cheapest I've seen Confused so I'll get 2 on the front this week and a couple more on the back in another two or three weeks Thumb up It would break my heart to fork out 320 quid in one go for something that has nothing to do with alcohol Cool

Maybe that's another difference, your tires are costing about $130 each, my last ones were about $180 each. So we get more out of our tires but they cost more to start with!!

Is yours a big'un though Chaz ? Mine's 16 inches  Cool

That could explain a price difference too. Size does matter  Whistle

I got a 55k mile guarantee on mine as well, so I think we can definitely say you are getting shafted by someone if yours will only last 20k!!!

They want us to pay an extra 39 quid for a guarantee insurance, that the slimy bastards will fail to pay out on because I ran over a leaf, in this cuuntry  Angry

I've finally worked out that if I turn off the 'Eco' button I can accelerate from 20 mph to 65 mph in about 4 seconds without changing out of 3rd Thumb up Marvelous Cool
