Sorry Vic but No!

West Brom had 5 goals disallowed.

Good job Fergie wasn't managing us then he would have had a heart attack!

1) What was unusual about Ronnie Allen's 208 league goals for Albion?
6) How many own goals did Stan Jones score during the 1961/62 season?
7) Who was the unfortunate goal keeper?

1) none of them were penalties?
6) quite a few, I bet!
7) must have been Ray Potter.

7) Who was the unfortunate goal keeper?

1) none of them were penalties? No they were all scored in the old First Division
6) quite a few, I bet! Not really, just 3 in the season but, that's enough I guess.
7) must have been Ray Potter.Sorry Aries, question already answered it was Tony Millington

That just leaves Q5 unanswered; Freddie Morris' achievement in the opening minute against Man City.

RE: WHO AM I? - aries22 - 05-09-2015

Is it the fewest touches from kick-off to scoring? Somebody kicks off and Fred Morris steps up and lamps it second touch into the City goal?
Wait - that'd be the quickest goal, surely.
From the kick-off, Fred dribbles the ball upfield then smashes in into the City net. So only two players touch the ball for the goal. Yes?

The feat was that he scored twice in the opening 56 seconds.

They couldn't have spent much time celebrating goals in those days as there would not have been enough time to score a second goal within that timescale.

Are you ready for some more brain stretchers?

1) What did Albion achieve in a match against Darwen in 1892?

2) Who is Albion's longest serving Chairman

3) Ronnie Allen won only 5 caps for England. Can you name England's opponents on his debut?

4) Bobby Hope gained only two caps for Scotland. Can you name either of the opponents?

5) How many Welsh caps did Graham & Stuart Williams win between them?

6) How many goals did Laurie Cunningham score in his three England appearances?

GOOD LUCK!!
