RE: New Manager Thread - madsteve - 13-06-2015 Sheridan is not good enough. Reading up on Carvalhal. He has written intellectual papers on tactics. maybe we need a better tactician. I think the mistake that a lot of fans are making is that they want a Manager whereas DC is looking for a Head Coach. RE: New Manager Thread - consilio - 13-06-2015 Alladyce is more of a manager I would guess RE: New Manager Thread - Thurnscoe_OWL - 13-06-2015 It will be someone totally unexpected. The bookies are changing the odds to make it seem like they're in the know. My money is on ancelotti ![]() RE: New Manager Thread - A57owl - 13-06-2015 (13-06-2015, 09:57)St Charles Owl Wrote: Don't like the fact that Sheridans odds are dropping each day!! Never rated him as a manager, always seems to be something under the surface just waiting to come out with him. He is a legend, I hope he stays that!! Totally agree St Charles. Sheridan would be a bad move. Not a new direction at, just another ex player who would ultimately tarnish his hero status. I think it will be a foreign coach who will fit into our new structure. Would not be impressed with Erikson either, Big Sam is a manager and would not want to relinquish the power. RE: New Manager Thread - Maddix - 13-06-2015 Carlos Carvalhal 1/6, 4/11, 1/5 and 1/3 at various bookies. RE: New Manager Thread - consilio - 13-06-2015 He's got an awful record. 14 clubs in 17 years. I hope whoever is advising DC knows what he's doing RE: New Manager Thread - Owlkev71 - 13-06-2015 How many of us had heard of Jokanovic or Karanka when they were put in charge at Watford & Middlesboro? RE: New Manager Thread - Statesideowl - 13-06-2015 True Kev. Though I remember Jokanovic when he played for Chelsea about 15 years ago. He's a proven 'Head Coach' too. I'd like to have Jokanovic personally, if not then Warburton. The thought of this Carvalhal guy completely underwhelms me, I just cannot see the point in sacking Gray for someone of the same calibre. Knew them as players and they were new and upcoming coaches. This guys been around for years and looks like he's had a poor record virtually everywhere he has been!!
