Don't give much for our chances on Saturday to be honest.
Our players lack the bottle and hunger for a game like that.
After that terrible performance, goodbye Wembley which might not be a bad thing as we've got a relegation battle on our hands. Little wonder Berahino wants to 'move on to better things'  who can blame him.

Villa wanted these points more than us.  We were more concerned to keep a clean sheet than taking a lead.  When we did draw level all we wanted to do was hold onto a point.  Villa took more risks and eventually reaped a huge reward from a miniscule difference in team ability coupled to a stroke of luck.  They deserved to win because they tried to win; we didn't.  Our two forwards must have despaired at the poor quality of ball played up to them whereas the Villa forwards came back into midfield to get the ball and take it forward themselves. They were desperate and they won; we were just desperate.  Time for bed.

Pathetic performance so not going to entirely blame individuals. The whole team was shocking.

Foster does need dropping, too many think they have it easy and wisdom was dropped when he was playing crap so the same should be done to foster. He hasn't been the same for a while and deserves to be dropped.

Watched brunt tonight very closely and i haven't got a clue how he's playing premier league football. Cannot find a blue and white shirt and if he's only in the team for his set pieces then wow cause even those are now shocking, his crossing is woeful.

We shouldn't be too surprised. It's TP's way away from home. We been extremely lucky in a few games of late and tonight our luck ran out.

Ben Foster should be ashamed.
Worst performance since Scott Carson was at the club.
Gutted.

Could have been 11 points clear tonight of the villa and relegation,

Now a mere 5 in front of Villa and 8 off relegation .......

meh Whistle

Foster throws one in his own net (which he'd been threatening all night) and all of a
sudden the Villa are world beaters again...

To be honest, we were negative (which is clearly Pulis' stance away) but were all good
for a point before Foster's rush of blood. I personally don't think Villa were going to
create a real chance in the second half unless we handed them something on a silver
platter and Foster certainly did that.

Considering we had some real poor performances tonight - Mozza, Gardner and Ideye
were all terrible, Lescott was poor for the goal and both full backs were shockers,
we still looked good for a draw.

Not particularly happy, but I guess it was just one of those things. I don't think Villa are
out of the mud yet - they're not going to play many sides baring gifts like we were tonight.

Just hope we have a go on Saturday because their p*ss poor defence can be got at.
Nothing to lose in a cup game.

Is it 11 against 11 or what? I just don't understand why TP doesn't set Albion up to simply go out and ATTACK away from home against a team down on their luck, low in confidence and in front of their own nervy fans. We've got some good players Tony, so use them to their best instead of handing Villa the initiative. No excuses for Saturday now, we know what we've got to do.

Poor performance by the whole team tonight! Fozzy has saved us many times and we should not get on his back due to one bad day at the office.

We are still 8 points clear of the relegation zone and can still get to Wembley at the weekend. Lets get behind the whole team from now through to the end of the season.
