Burnley will be shite-ing themselves now. Although we barely don't deserve it, we could nick this.
Could be a turning point for Ideye. Someone said earlier he'd score

We need another corner as we seem incapable of putting more than 2 passes together

Two good set pieces, rubbish performance.

Are we actually sure that Irvine has left? Set up to get a goalless draw at mighty Burnley and then actually try to go forward once we go 2 down

Well, I'd have taken that point after half an hour. It suits us more than Burnley, but boy, the pressure's on us now to start winning home matches, and for TP to get his team selections sorted.

The most positive point of the match is the strength of character we showed to come back from two down, which we haven't done for a long time. Also good to know it isn't just us who blows two-goal leads.

QPR and Leicester look set to take two of the relegation spots, so we'll just need to avoid that third place, which for now means staying a step ahead of Burnley, Hull and Villa. Today we've managed that. Just.

On that evidence, that game could easily grace the Championship next year.

We seem to have no threat from open play at all. Whenever we break, the speed going forward is embarrassing. We do carry a threat from set plays with multiple centre halfs playing, but little else.

Burnley played better football, had full backs willing to push on, but don't really have the quality for this division.

Happy with the point under the circumstances - but we really needed to go there and win. We never looked like we had the bottle, quality or belief that we could do it though. Fortunate that Burnley didn't have the quality to defend corners.

Well, we may have got a point, we may have improved slightly in the 2nd half, but IMO that was SO poor. Time after time their player got a bouncing ball when 2 of ours were in the mix - the application going forward was atrocious.

Not sure WTF's going on with selection when we play most of the game without ONE specialist FB, and the opposition was creating so much down each flank.

At least we didn't lose, but IMO we got more than we deserved. At this rate TP is going to lose that record of never being relegated........I'm really concerned that there is no heart in most of the players.
Over to you Mr Pulis & Mr Fletcher.

Difference being Zinman we wouldn't have come back from 2-0 down under Irvine.
In fact 2-0 up and lost at QPR..enough said.
Great point in the end but initial team selection wrong. We need to start better against Swansea and several players need to look in the mirror tonight.
C O Y B - bring on the Swans
