Loving this new manager he dropped Johnson from the squad I'm hoping we can still get rid of him before the transfer window shuts .

The days of standing still on the flanks are coming to an end thank f@ck ! Johnson though a good crosser does this time and time again !!! We now hopefully in Valentín musaba and Delgado have faster better technical players .

Another point now that we have a second keeper surely it would be wise to send the kiddie keeper on loan to the lower leagues if possible !

Just a few months here and there nothing stupid like a season Incase of injuries .

Sunderland completely rattled by Ipswich.
Little prick Hirst scores too

Sunderland by far the better team in the first half but Ipswich get a spawny goal and since then Sunderland have shown nothing but disarray!

L**ds dominated Cardiff yet found themselves 0-2 down before coming back. Leicester were 1-0 down to a good Coventry team but came back to win. This league is about taking chances when you get them. Southampton couldn’t do that and it kept us in with a chance while it was 0-1, just a shame we couldn’t hold on to that point. West Brom had a lot of possession but have no striker and lost, as did Huddersfield. Its going to be fine margin this season so having a striker that can consistently score is going to be crucial.

Joint 16th as it stands I think this might be the dizzy heights for us this season ..enjoy Wink

Exactly, SCO.

Our problem is converting the chances, we squandered so many opportunities last season in Division 3.
We cannot afford that in the Championship, every goal matters now.

Don't forget, score/scorer and goaltime for the Stockport game which is Tuesday night.

RE: The Owls v Southampton SBC Match Thread - St Charles Owl - 07-08-2023

4-1 Smith
14 mins

Derby have signed Martyn Waghorn from Coventry, I imagine this ends their interest in Smith.

3-2 Fletcher

20 mins
