RE: Jan 03: WBA 2018/19 Transfer Window - BaggieSteve - 31-01-2019 As interesting as the potential signings of Montero and Murphy are, do we feel either of these will compensate for the continued presence of Robson-Kanu? I get that we would want to sign a "winger" to replace Barnes but why sign two when we have a desperate need for a third striker thus allowing HRK to be relieved of his current duties of stepping onto a football pitch? Kanu has played most of his football this season as a wide striker, so I'd assume he would fall behind both in the pecking order and only play in the event that both Gayle and Rodriguez were both missing. Touch wood this doesn't happen... RE: Jan 03: WBA 2018/19 Transfer Window - SomersetBaggie - 31-01-2019 According to Sky, Murphy is now undergoing a medical. I am wondering whether Montero will only happen if the Murphy deal fails. Stefan Johansen from Fulham could be happening as well...his record in the Championship looks pretty good. Could I actually be happy at the end of a transfer window?? On his way for his medical apparently ![]() RE: Jan 03: WBA 2018/19 Transfer Window - drewks - 31-01-2019 Sounds like a few pretty promising irons in the fire right now, most of them positive, attractive players too. Another here - good player again but slightly tenuous link... Bojan from Sjoke https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/31/report-stoke-citys-bojan-wants-to-join-west-bromwich-albion/ New Stoke manager now saying Bojan will get a chance with them before the end of the season. So obviously on his way ![]() RE: Jan 03: WBA 2018/19 Transfer Window - Beefy 1965 - 31-01-2019 Bojan staying at Stoke Albion are trying to push through THREE loan signings before tonight's 11pm deadline. Montero, Murphy and Fulham central midfielder Stefan Johansen. Story here #wba https://t.co/80ZWrNjD7S RE: Jan 03: WBA 2018/19 Transfer Window - drewks - 31-01-2019 Someone.... PLEASE mock up a picture of BD dressed as a cowboy in a mask, smokin' gun in hand.... "Darren Moore - the new Loan Arranger" ![]() RE: Jan 03: WBA 2018/19 Transfer Window - WBA-Josh - 31-01-2019 I’m not overly keen on Montero but that’s because he’s barely played this season for Swansea. He was very promising a couple of seasons ago so maybe Darren can get the best out of him. Murphy and Johansen I’ll be happy with. Bloody good midfield we’ll have if these three sign: DM - Barry RCM - Livermore, Harper LCM - Johansen, Field RM - Phillips, Leko LM - Murphy, Montero AM - Morrison, Hoolahan (31-01-2019, 19:46)drewks Wrote: Someone....
