All these laudable suggestions come with no guarantee of success whatsoever. Who would have thought that a bloke like Moore could step and so comprehensively outperform 2 experienced managers. His secret appears to be a personable disposition and a passion for WBA that he has communicated to the players. They are playing without fear and to the levels we expected from them, at the start of the season Alouion... looking at expressions on Livermore’s face immediately after the final whistle it became very obvious to me that he had a great deal of affection for the club which until that moment, had been hidden. I suspect there are two factions involved. Those who play for money and those who play for pride, the club and the money. It will be interesting to see who is on which list. RE: Next Manager - Beefy 1965 - 07-05-2018 Bristol City owner not aware of any West Brom approach for Lee Johnson By Matt Wilson | West Bromwich Albion | Published: Less than an hour ago Bristol City owner Steve Lansdown says the Robins have not received a formal approach from Albion for their manager Lee Johnson. If Moore ISN’T given the job, club will make it a condition he is kept on as coach. Smith’s attacking football and Big Dave’s defensive organisation. Who the hell does what in that set up? Much simpler when a club had a Manager - full stop (although I can see it's maybe best to free up the top bloke to deal with just coaching) . RE: Next Manager - WBA-Josh - 11-05-2018 Generally speaking: Head Coach is in charge of everything. He sets up what is going to happen in training, controls training and organises everything (tactics, formations etc) for match days. His Assistant assists him with that and along with the First Team Coach, they run the training with direction from the Head Coach. Obviously the above is flexible and not the same for all clubs. RE: Next Manager - Beefy 1965 - 12-05-2018 Just my opinion but ....... I wonder with Terraneo now pulling the recruitment strings, a left field appointment like this could mean .............. Manchester United assistant manager Rui Faria is to leave the club. Faria joined the side two years ago after Jose Mourinho was appointed as manager and the two have worked together for more than 17 years. "After a lot of consideration, and with a very heavy heart, I have decided the time is right for me to move on," said the 42-year-old Portuguese. Mourinho added: "The intelligent student is now a football expert, ready for a successful career as a manager." Mourinho said of the pair's career-long association: "17 years… in Leiria, Porto, London, Milan, Madrid, London again and Manchester. Training, playing, travelling, studying, laughing and also a few tears of happiness. RE: Next Manager - Beefy 1965 - 13-05-2018 Remember Chris Lepkowski ? The Birmingham Mail journo who was about 99% correct regarding the Baggies ? As a Baggies supporter he is still on twitter as he still supports the Albion he was asked about the managerial situation, If he still has fingers in Pies then this is almost a certainty, If he hasn't well we shall see .......... Craig Seager Replying to @chrislepkowski @LondonBaggies Dean Smith next week....#itk Chris Lepkowski @chrislepkowski 21m21 minutes ago I think it will be him. Something I heard over weekend suggested it was leaning towards him. Craig Seager @1rockstar123 18m18 minutes ago I believe so from what I’ve been told.
