On top of being a shocking official - **** even Sundays game was littered with his **** ups,he has shown himself up time and time again in games involving hibs. Is that POOR standard not par for the course when applied to a Hearts supporting c##t like Thompson? You'll see this ref's full historical record against Hibs FC on other Hibs forums - IT REALLY IS A DREADFUL RECORD EVEN AGAINST SOME GOOD HIBS SIDES!! The give away for me always was his general disregard and the contemptuous way that he behaved against Hibs players in previous matches that he officiated. He's cute in the fact that he makes certain crucial decisions to suddenly change a match against Hibs if he can manage to do it! I remember at a previous AGM Pat Fenlon conceded that he'd quickly change his own rules governing yellow card offences when Thompson was the official - because this ref appeared to be 'itching' to send off a Hibs player at certain matches, more so than any other official, but Thompson's stance was not objectively retrospective and that certainly applies in Hearts matches. I thought we'd moved on from this moron a long time ago!! HE SHOULD'VE BEEN BANNED FROM OFFICIATING THESE MATCHES AND I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THE SFA HAD DISCREETLY DONE THAT UNTIL NOW!! ![]() To any Hibs fan - Where's the logic within the SFA to award this unusual fixture to a ref who has been regularly subjected to massed Hibs fans' chants of YOU HEARTS B#####D, YOU HEARTS B#####D.... Guaranteed impartiality??????? My arse!!! ![]() RE: Scottish Cup 5th Round draw - It's an Embro Derby! - hibeejim21 - 02-02-2016 (02-02-2016, 16:24)Fredstersafool Wrote: Hhahahahaha yer sounding like a Celtic fan. His usual "look at me" style of reffing whilst he gets major calls wrong. Apparently robbies got his team training with 12 men all week ![]() ![]() RE: Scottish Cup 5th Round draw - It's an Embro Derby! - 0762 - 04-02-2016 Fontaine confirmed to be OK for Sunday's SC tie after limping off at Cappielow. So Stubbs has a full 1st team squad to call on ![]() RE: Scottish Cup 5th Round draw - It's an Embro Derby! - ritchiebaby - 04-02-2016 Behind The Goals at Easter Road will be open on Sunday from 11am to 3pm to let fans watch the cup tie on the big screen at a cost of £5 for adults and £2-50 for under-16s. ( http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/6156 if anyone's interested ) BTW for all the big ![]() ![]() The **** word that someone doesn't like is "cost" That's c o s t. RE: Scottish Cup 5th Round draw - It's an Embro Derby! - St Charles Owl - 05-02-2016 As you can see this is now fixed, we will call this a clerical error!! RE: Scottish Cup 5th Round draw - It's an Embro Derby! - 0762 - 05-02-2016 Looks like Stokesy will definitely be in Hibs line up and he's looking forward to the barracking that he'll be getting at Tynecastle - motivates him to play better! A 'hat trick' for Stokesy? Here's hoping he bangs in a few goals on Sunday! ![]() RE: Scottish Cup 5th Round draw - It's an Embro Derby! - hibeejim21 - 05-02-2016 Expect stokes and Cummings to start this one. I think stokesys experience will help us a lot in this game. I think he will score a "barrel load" in the championship and hopefully at the weekend. Nae love lost with him and the jambos, but some players thrive on being the villain in fixtures like this. RE: Scottish Cup 5th Round draw - It's an Embro Derby! - ritchiebaby - 05-02-2016 I still suspect Hearts will be too physical a side for the lightweight Hibs team, but we're certainly good enough to beat them, or at least earn a replay at Easter Road. Hearts have had 6 draws in their last 9 games, so an early lead for Hibs might prove difficult for them to overcome, The Hibs players should be fired up for this one and our recent record against Hearts is not bad - 1 win, 2 draws and 1 defeat in last year's Championship, which they won at a canter. OK, Hearts have improved, but so have we and we seem to have developed a habit of grinding out results in tight matches. We've nothing to lose and everything to gain, so let's get stuck in and play good football. GGTTH |
