RE: The Ashes -2015 - Thurnscoe_OWL - 21-07-2015 Only one change Not a big cricketer so is this the right or wrong decision or is it not a big enough change? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/33612502 RE: The Ashes -2015 - consilio - 21-07-2015 Right decision in my opinion. Very rare to see wholesale changes between tests, especially after we one the first one. RE: The Ashes -2015 - Maddix - 21-07-2015 And WTF has Ian Bell done to retain his place his average is lower than Ballance's Both should have been dropped or Taylor brought in for Bell and Ballance shoved back up the order where he can hold the tail together like he did before England they tried to make Root into an opening batsman and they've tried to make Ballance a number 3 to replace Trott Just get Taylor, a natural number 3, in the flucking team
RE: The Ashes -2015 - consilio - 21-07-2015 Bell is vastly experienced and in a very inexperienced batting line up we need him at the moment. He's a class act, just a rough patch of form. Part of the problem is that no-one apart from Bairstow is making a case for inclusion at the moment. Bell is a quality player on a bad run. If he gets dropped now then there is probably no way back. Ballance can get himself back by racking up the runs in the county game again. RE: The Ashes -2015 - Maddix - 28-07-2015 Bloody hell it starts again at Edgbaston tomorrow I hope it keeps pissing it down even if I am on holiday this week
RE: The Ashes -2015 - Owlkev71 - 29-07-2015 Australia 136 all out, now can our batsmen remember how to bat properly. RE: The Ashes -2015 - Maddix - 29-07-2015 Bloody rain we could have been miles in front by now
RE: The Ashes -2015 - Thurnscoe_OWL - 30-07-2015 Have England got this test wrapped up now then? Only second day and Australia are almost all out in the second innings. Talk about self destruct RE: The Ashes -2015 - Maddix - 30-07-2015 Need a good stand from the Aussies now (but not too good). I've got tomorrow penciled in for watching cricket while the wife is out baby sitting
