They were missing players who are more capable in t20, its like us saying we didnt have Morgan. They were called average because there were players who were uncapped, but more to the point graves had seen none of them play and made an uninformed statement that was always going to backfire. Great start mr graves, lets see what you say about nz and australia!

Yes it was a daft thing to say. He's obviously more used to winning, coming from Yorkshire.
