Silver women's 800m Hodgkinson

Reekie just misses bronze

Bell came 7th I think.

Hodgkinson got Kelly Holmes' BR and the other 2 did PBs.

She's only 19. Peaked at the right time. Hope she keeps injury free up to the next one.

If you set a PB in an Olympic final, that's what you trained for. Medals are a bonus that sometimes come along as a result. Nobody can take either off you (unless you have something like a friendly Russian doping Lab scam running), but you can go on to set more PB's.

Yes, certainly, I feel they've given their all.

Ed Clancy has retired from the GB cycling team at the Tokyo Olympics due to a recurring back injury. His many victories included 3 Olympic Golds in the Team Pursuit.

Meanwhile, the medals keep on coming, as do the 4th place finishes.

Another big win for Italy. Beaten the potty mouthed Danes for the Team Pursuit Gold.

RE: TOKYO OLYMPICS - ritchiebaby - 04-08-2021

2020 has been a great year for Italy, even if it came late, like the Italian Team Pursuit riders. The Euros first and now the Olympics.

And the Eurovison Song Contest. What a year they're having! Big Grin

Oh no! KJT has pulled up lame. Sad

She rolled about in agony, but bravely got back up and finished the race.

And the miserable sods disqualified her for going out of her lane.  Angry

On a much happier note. Another Gold for the Pony Club. Explosion W wins the Individual Jumping, with Ben Maher on his back. Smile
