Ah that Final on the 1050's when Morteson and Stanley Mathews was playing, or was it against Preston with Finney playing, not sure but we did win - I think.

That would have been Preston. We've had a few cup ties against Blackpool, but always in the earlier rounds. And this'll be the first since 1978.

1050’s Bloody hell we must be the oldest two clubs in the World. : who played in the 1066 final Battle and Hastings .1953 the called Mathews final even though Mortenson got a hatrick.

I love the FA Cup, sadly the club treats it as a side show. The fringe players can have a run out. I cannot get excited about our efforts anymore. I would be more interested in watching Maine play Spurs.
