Genuinely excited to see him have a go at the Prem. He has a good season with us next year, Spuds/Arsenal/United will be offering north of £50m, great investment, a few more like that please ![]() COYB RE: Matheus Pereria Is A Baggie - Blue Baggie - 17-08-2020 It about time, I still have a question mark over how he will cope in a side fighting against relegation Vs Against a side basking in glory, only time will tell. We all hope he comes out all guns blazzing and gives us the cutting edge and creativity we will be needing. He could become a new legend. We are short of one now Chris has moved on. We love a hero, RE: Matheus Pereria Is A Baggie - Beefy 1965 - 18-08-2020 Slav unhappy He expected more money ... Oooppss ![]() Doesn't sound a happy Bunny ![]() Bilić: “We don't have much money yet. I expected we‘d have more. Krovinović is a priority, I’ll do everything for him to stay. Oršić will be difficult. Ivo Grbić is a top goalkeeper, I try everything if this does not happen with Atletico, but I am not confident." #WBA https://t.co/Abqq96bmPH RE: Matheus Pereria Is A Baggie - SomersetBaggie - 18-08-2020 Worried that Slavan will walk if he is not supported by the board. They have to provide him with reasonable funds as we are nowhere near strong enough to compete....could be another Norwich! RE: Matheus Pereria Is A Baggie - wba13 - 18-08-2020 Why is it that one throwaway line makes fans think he’s going to walk. He’s happy at the Albion, he will get players in who he wants and some will leave . This same discussion comes up every transfer window. Krovinovic is our top target at present, but when or if he comes on board this will change to another top target. Don’t start panicking we have till the end of October so it’s really early days yet. RE: Matheus Pereria Is A Baggie - Blue Baggie - 18-08-2020 All managers want more money, it shows ambition which is a good thing. We would like to keep Bilic, the main concern is he may get an offer he cannot refuse and walk (N.B Roy). Knowing WBA he already has a price on his head. This is where we should be doing our homework and have a number of candidates ready to take over. But we are not at that point so lets focus on how we can improve and satisfy fans and maneagement together. The talk of us spending £50-60 million is a fantasy IMO I already guesstimated we had £20-30 million max and Pereira has IMO taken £8million of that. This is not all doom and gloom, more players then ever are seeking new clubs and all transfer values will just continue to fall. Free's and Loans will be available in abundence - we just need our recruitment team to bring them in. Our loans have been a major success over the last few years, Barnes - Gayle - Pereira - Krov - Diangana have been brilliant. We should be excited who will be the next loans (unknown) to come in and light the place up. Lets keep the faith and give our guys our support and see what they can deliver. COYB. |
