DOES ANYONE THINK ..... - Baggiebob(BBB) - 30-07-2020

Does anyone think we will be above 19th at the end of next season?

Me: No

Also who do we need to get rid of/ or replace?

RE: DOES ANYONE THINK ..... - WBA-Josh - 30-07-2020

16th.

Replace in starting 11 - Johnstone, Bartley, Gibbs, Sawyers, Diangana (if he goes), Robinson/Austin

Sell or loan out - Townsend (loan), Barry, Field (loan), Phillips, Zohore, HRK

All depends on your signings. Bookies will have you favourite for the drop because the media perceive West Brom as a yo-yo club even though you were in the Premier League for 8 consecutive seasons last time. You should be aiming for about mid-table somewhere around 10th-12th.

Putting a tenner on survival is a good bet

I'd love us to have a good transfer window, but experience says we won't. I fear the bookies may be right, while desperately hoping to be shown up for an overly pessimistic buffoon.

Put a 100 on it and with the odds you will get you could finance this site for a year courtesy of WBA surviving!!! Big Grin

RE: DOES ANYONE THINK ..... - Baggiebob(BBB) - 31-07-2020

Well i think we will survive by the skin of our teeth (skin on teeth?) but it all depends on getting a goal scorer and better goalkeeper.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall over who we will get rid of and who we will buy.

RE: DOES ANYONE THINK ..... - Baggiebob(BBB) - 03-09-2020

So is everyone satisfied with the transfers, and we'll survive the 1st season?? Thoughts. Cool

RE: DOES ANYONE THINK ..... - wba13 - 03-09-2020

Cannot and will not predict any outcome for this season until the transfer deadline has past. I think it will end up a lot different team than that starts against Leicester.

RE: DOES ANYONE THINK ..... - Blue Baggie - 03-09-2020

The bargains will be knocking our door soon.
We need to be prudent and go about our business very carefully.
I'm trying to think of any player who came in early in any transfer window?
Holgate and eerrr I cant think of another.
Survive - it's a bigger quetion then our position in the PL.
Wait for other clubs to begin to fold due to lack of funds, that's the survival problem for 75% of clubs atm.
